Description

[No Smoking Plan] @ casabudonoki A huge Japanese-style house that is also used as an experience facility by Company P, a major home appliance and home equipment manufacturer. The site is half the size of Koshien Stadium (8,500 square meters), and all rooms are on the first floor. It is a normal 3LDK condominium with 3 units (15 rooms, 200 square meters), and with 4 bedrooms, it can be used for long-term business trips and workations for up to 11 people. There is a parking lot for 13 cars, close to the Oyabe Tonami Junction, and there are 4 interchanges that can be accessed within 10 minutes, from which the Hokuriku Expressway, the Tokai Hokuriku Expressway, and the Jobetsu Expressway extend in 4 directions, east, west, south, and north, boasting an amazing range of activities using the expressway. Kanazawa is 25 minutes, Toyama is 30 minutes, Takayama is 70 minutes, and Himi is 25 minutes. Although it has been more than 100 years since it was built in 1913, the owner, who is an architect, has gradually renovated it while retaining the atmosphere of the Taisho and Showa eras, and has equipped it with high-quality facilities so that you can spend your time here without any problems in modern life. 6 air conditioners, 4 TVs, 2 dishwashers, toilets and sinks can be used by 2 people at the same time. With an internet environment built with a business router, surrounded by rural scenery, you can comfortably work while overlooking the Japanese garden through the window and the distant Mt. Iozan and Tateyama mountain ranges. The space ■ We have a separate plan for small-scale use for families of 2 nights or more. ■ * About COVID-19 infection prevention * ---------------------------- We have several measures in place to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. ・ There is a minimum 3-day interval between check-out and the next guest's check-in. ・ The capacity is limited to 11 people. ・ We provide cleaned sheets. ・ We provide disposable gloves. ・ There is an alcohol spray at the guest entrance. Please disinfect your hands before entering the room. ・ We provide slippers exclusively for guests. Please ・ If you are using GoTo Travel, we will verify your identity directly with a driver's license, etc. at check-in, and ask you to check your body temperature with a non-contact thermometer. ・ Please refrain from sharing dishes and gathering in small rooms to chat. ・ If you sleep with the windows open for a long time in a place surrounded by nature, you will have a hard time the next morning. Please sleep in as many rooms as possible. ---------------------------- The building is usually used to manage the fields, and the host, who is an architect and carpenter, has renovated it little by little without changing the atmosphere, so that you can enjoy the old private house life of the time with new facilities. The host is in a separate section (management room) under the same roof in a longhouse style, but the entrance is separate and privacy is ensured. ■ (1.1) Limited to one group per day Limited to one group per day for the entire facility. No other groups are booked during your stay. ■ (1.2) Futons and tatami mats All bedrooms are tatami rooms. Sheets and yukata are cleaned, and duvets are provided. The futons can be carried, so you can take them to the room with the view you like, or everyone can sleep in the same room, sleep in separate rooms, split the rooms by family or gender, have a separate room just for the boss, or a separate room for snorers, etc. The room is rented to one group per day, so you are free to divide the rooms as you like. ■ (1.3) Hospitality The host focuses on comfortable sleep, room-only, and the atmosphere of an ordinary private house in the Japanese countryside from Taisho to Showa. ■ (1.4) Outside view and environment From each room, you can enjoy a variety of seasonal natural views in various directions, such as Japanese gardens, tranquil rural landscapes, and views of the Northern Alps. On clear nights, the Milky Way and various constellations of stars appear to be within reach. * We recommend checking in before sunset, as the surrounding environment is one of the reasons to choose this place. ■ (1.5) Highway There are four interchanges near the Oyabe Tonami Junction, about 5 to 10 minutes away. Since the highway can be used in four directions, east, west, south, and north, the range of activities is large, and I don't think there will be any trouble sightseeing even for long-term stays. East: Toyama 30 minutes / Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route 60 minutes / Itoigawa Emerald Coast 90 minutes West: Kanazawa 25 min / Chirihama Nagisa Driveway 40 min / Kaga Onsen 60 min / Fukui 90 min South: Gokayama 40 min / Shirakawa-go 40 min / Takayama 70 min North: Takaoka 20 min / Himi 30 min / Wakura Onsen 60 min / Wajima 100 min - 200 km to Nagoya - 300 km to Osaka - 400 km to Tokyo ■ (1.6) Parking There is one parking space in front of the house (only for small cars) and 12 parking spaces in the vacant lot next door. Use is free. ■ (1.7) Luggage storage It is convenient to place suitcases, etc. in the inner edge (equivalent to a modern sunroom) just in front of the parking lot for small cars. ■ (1.8) Guest-only entrance You can enter and exit at any time with an auto lock and card key from the guest-only entrance located just past the Japanese garden by walking on the stepping stone of the approach. At the top of the entrance, there is a curtain that looks like a vine swaying in the wind and a colored paper picture that wards off evil spirits. ■ (1.9) Bedroom Of the 15 rooms, 10 are tatami-matted, and 4 of them are designated as bedrooms. ■ (1.10) Japanese-style room # 1 (capacity 4) A modern Japanese-style room inspired by the "sunset over a rice field with golden ears of rice swaying in the wind", it is a simple and plain room with orange glass mosaic tiles, checkered tatami mats, a dynamic sloping ceiling, thick beams and a loft (you can't climb up) that are softly illuminated by indirect lighting. The insulation is solid so you can sleep well even during the harsh seasons of Hokuriku, and the warmth (coolness in summer) remains until morning. It is a bright corner room with 10 tatami mats, opening to the south and west. There is an air conditioner and a coat rack. ■ (1.11) Japanese-style room # 2 (capacity 3) This is a corner room with 8 tatami mats that opens to the south and east, inspired by "young plants and trees and sunlight filtering through the trees". When you open the sliding door, you can see the rural landscape through the Japanese garden. There is a hanging scroll on the floor, a cute colored picture of a sparrow, and a lacquered curtain that hides a closet. There is an air conditioner and a coat rack. ■ (1.12) Japanese-style room # 3 (capacity 2) This is a study-style guest room with a red painted wall inspired by the "noble monk's excursion", a dynamic pine sliding door, and an impressive picture of carp climbing a waterfall. In addition to the 6 tatami mats, it is used together with the 6 tatami mats study next door and the closet next to it. When you open the sliding door in the bright south-facing room, you can see the Japanese-style building and the Japanese garden, and in the distance, Mt. Iozan and the Tateyama mountain range. There is an air conditioner and a coat rack in the closet. ■ (1.13) Japanese-style room # 4 (capacity 4) In a room inspired by "a moment of people gathering in the garden", surrounded by various designs such as sliding doors, wooden doors, and fusuma, a transom with pine, bamboo, and plum, and a floor and hanging scroll in the back room create a spacious space. When you open the east-facing sliding door, the Japanese garden spreads out before your eyes with the brightness of the morning sun. It is maintained almost as it was when it was built. There is an air conditioner. Use the futon hanger to hang your coat. Guest access You can use more than 10 rooms exclusively for guests, excluding the management room and the landlord's exclusive part (living room), which you can enter from the guest entrance. ■ (1.11) Wi-Fi There is Wi-Fi connected to the fiber optic line. There are 3 TVs, and you can't watch terrestrial broadcasts, but you can enjoy AbemaTV and Netflix on FireTV. You can comfortably connect to the internet from your PC or smartphone. ■ (1.12) Bath You can experience the slogan "Hot springs within 30 seconds on foot" in this bath, where you can feel the warmth of the hot water wrapped in tiny bubbles in the Jacuzzi and oxygen-rich water, and you can enjoy your favorite music by operating the bluetooth bath audio. The bathroom, with its metallic white tones, is bright and spacious with large windows and high sidelights, but at night the spotlights illuminating the water basin and the washroom visible through the large glass walls are dramatic and impressive. Baths and showers are available at all times. ■ (1.13) Washroom The washroom, inspired by the flow of sparkling water, features a kaleidoscope-like glass style and velvet washbowl visible through the window light. It also serves as a dressing room. Two people can use the touchless faucet at the same time, and amenities are provided for the number of people. ■ (1.14) Toilet There are two toilets: a 0.5 tsubo white-toned toilet designed to resemble a cottage hideaway, and a 1 tsubo white-toned tiled toilet designed to resemble the flow of clear air through a forest. Both are self-cleaning and have handrails. ■ (1.15) Kitchen The earth-colored kitchen, inspired by the sunlight filtering through the trees in the forest, also serves as a dining space and laundry. In addition to cutlery for 10 people, there are wine glasses, a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator (2), dishwasher (2), TV, games, etc. ■ (1.16) What you can do in the kitchen ・ This is a room-only facility and you cannot cook. However, as there are few restaurants nearby, we exceptionally provide hot water. ・ In the kitchen, you can boil water, brew milk in a pot, warm up and eat ready-to-eat food, toast, and warm up what you bought at the convenience store in the microwave. ・ There are no knives, cutting boards, seasonings, or frying pans. You cannot cook stews or oily dishes. Please refrain from bringing in uncooked ingredients, cooking utensils, seasonings, or cooking appliances. ・ Instead, we offer free coffee, tea, and bread. Emergency cup ramen is 100 yen. ■ Host support Everyone can shop for themselves, but if the host is available, they can also do some simple shopping. It might be quicker to ask than to get lost in an unfamiliar place. The fee is 30% of the amount purchased (minimum 1000 yen). ■ Kaiseki cuisine For the kaiseki cuisine shown in the photos, made with local seasonal ingredients, reservations are required at least one week in advance, and we ask for the actual cost (market price) at the time of booking. Please contact us after booking. Other things to note [No Smoking] In line with the enforcement of the Health Promotion Law, the premises are completely non-smoking. In addition, there are many flammable objects in the surrounding area, the wind passes through, and there have been large fires in similar places in the past due to careless smoking, so smoking is not allowed indoors, outdoors, or in the settlement. Here's how to smoke: (1) Go to a smoking corner such as a nearby convenience store (the nearest one is 3 minutes by car) (2) Change to a smoking facility (no refund) Interaction with guests The host respects the privacy of all guests. This facility is a private lodging business under the Residential Accommodation Business Act, and the owner lives in the management room during the accommodation period. Just like a ryokan, the host is at the front desk and can be contacted by extension phone. If you need, we can guide you and see you off. Self check-in is possible even while you are out. If you have any questions about sightseeing spots such as Kanazawa, nearby restaurants, shopping places, or how to use the facilities, we will answer them on the spot or search using a computer. During your stay, we will enter the room to the extent necessary to manage the wood stove, early morning cleaning, bathroom, and kitchen air conditioning. [About indoor meals] Because it is a building in line with the old habit of separating eating and sleeping, indoor meals can be eaten in the tea room and dining room. You can't bring in uncooked food and cook it, but you can buy cooked food and heat it in the microwave. Refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and dishwasher are available. Since there are no shops nearby, we provide sweets, bread, drinks, and coffee beans for free, and cup ramen for 100 yen. About the lack of cooking utensils Most guests come back after having a delicious meal at the place they visited. Since you're on a trip, we recommend eating at a local restaurant with delicious ingredients. You cannot cook indoors (you can boil water). There are no cooking utensils. You can barbecue outdoors (depending on the weather). An additional fee per person will be charged. About drinking A little alcohol for a good night's sleep or to enjoy elegantly is fine, but drinking while traveling can cause trouble, so we don't recommend it. I recommend going out to a local bar rather than drinking indoors. Locals go out for drinks by deciding on a designated driver or asking someone to drive them. Parking The stars are beautiful at night, but it is pitch dark. There are many obstacles on the approach from the public road to the front of the house, such as garden stones, trees, pillars, buildings, etc. If you try to drive in an unfamiliar place and damage your car, it will ruin your trip, so please park large cars on the opposite side of the premises. [For Japanese people - Examples of people who went home without staying] There is no problem for those who stay normally, but it seems that some people think that accommodation = drinking parties and banquets. This kind of use is prohibited in many facilities. The listing explains this, so please read the listing carefully in advance to avoid misunderstandings. There have been Japanese people who have come all the way from Tokyo, and have returned without staying after arriving and being explained the rules. To give you an example, ・ I was going to buy crabs at the market with my family and cook them, but knowing that I couldn't cook, I went home without staying. ・ They also intended to have a drinking party with friends during their stay, but knowing that it was a violation of the rules prohibiting parties, they left without staying. ・ A student club intended to bring in a rice cooker and cooking utensils for a drinking party, but upon learning that they were not allowed to bring them into a room-only facility, they left without staying. ・ I did not know that there was a fire prevention no-smoking policy for the surrounding residents. ■ (2.1) Check-in procedure a) Large luggage is best placed on the inner edge - Please enjoy tea and sweets in the kotatsu room b) We ask you to fill in the guest list c) We will show you the toilet, bath, etc. d) I will explain how to use the futon and sheets Check-in will be done after everyone is present. It takes about 20 minutes. ■ (2.2) Check-out procedure a) Gather the sheets and bath towels in one place b) Hang the futon on the futon drying rack c) We would appreciate it if you could sweep the floor d) Please collect the garbage in one place f) Give the card key to the host and close the door ■ (2.3) For consecutive night stays a) We provide new sheets and bath towels every 2 days b) Please collect garbage in one place every day c) Amenities are replenished daily Frequently asked questions 1) Mobile phone: Cell phones and PHS are normally connected. 2) How to use the tatami mats: Tatami mats and painted walls are easily damaged, so please do not hit them with the corners of your luggage or castors, or place wet items directly on them. We have a mat for storing luggage. 3) Pickup service You need a car to go anywhere, and we don't offer pick-up service. More than 90% of our guests come by rental car. So far, two groups of guests have arrived by train and bus. It is practical to come by taxi from Ishidori Station. ■ ■ What you need to know about Japanese-style old houses ■ ■ This information is for people who live in mansions or modern homes with high airtightness and high thermal insulation, and for people who have only seen Taisho and Showa era houses in dramas. 1) A generous feeling of enjoying nature: Like the famous passage from the book "The Pillow Book," "A house should be a summer house," old houses are made with small gaps in the outer walls for ventilation. In the middle of summer, we have added an air conditioner and a fan, and in the middle of winter, we have renovated the air conditioner with a heater and a hot water bottle to make it comfortable, but since it is an old house in the countryside, please come with a generous feeling and enjoy the interior as part of nature. Thank you for reading this far. Registration Details M160000230
