Ideal private chalet getaway in Ellicottville NY. The property is located at the top of a hill on a private drive, giving you a beautiful overlook of the valley. The location is a 5 min drive to downtown Ellicottville and 3min drive to Holiday Valley. There are many state land hiking trails off of the private drive. Convenient location for families looking to ski for the weekend, hike locally/at Allegany State Park, and visit the beautiful town of Ellicottville NY. The space With this being a private establishment there are only a few neighbors in the area. This is an ideal location for you and your family if you want to get a true secluded outdoor experience but at the same time only be a few minutes from the town of Ellicottville. Please note that I highly recommend having a 4WD or AWD vehicle if you are planning to rent in the winter (let me know if you have any questions on this). Guest access There will be an access code to unlock the front door which will be given to you prior to your arrival. Other things to note The location of the property can sometimes be difficult to find with a GPS. The GPS system will get you to the private road that you have to enter, but has trouble identifying the property. I have taken a picture of the GPS map to show you where the rental property is actually located. You will also see a wooden sign that says "firefly" at the end of the driveway. Your welcome packet will provide more details around navigating the address. **IMPORTANT** During the winter it is recommended that you have a vehicle with appropriate snow/season tires as well as AWD or 4WD capabilities. This location is on a hill that is off of the main road and plowed locally but usually has a layer of snow. This will ensure we know the correct capacity of all guests checking in and the accurate pricing reflected.
