Housey. Boardgames + Cat in the NYC of Hobart
Description
The house is old and cold in winter. We have heaters and hot water bottles. A massive plus: house is not haunted. Home to precisely one cat and us, Kate (Vet) Ronan (marketing wanker). Cat wakes up early and is annoying but cute. Explore NoHo's exemplary entertainment and restaurant district. A lived in house: lots of boardgames, a projector with Apple TV, PS5, all the streaming channels, a backyard to frolic in and a small but well kitted out kitchen (coffee machine, baking appliances etc) The space It's pretty. Very quiet st. Charming federation era house with preserved features. Rather cold indeed (you've been warned). Not suitable for kids under 12 because the cat is scared of small beasts. Guest access >2 minutes walk from NoHo's restuarants, pubs and wine bars (oh and the new karaoke place) >7 minutes walk from Domaine / Botanical gardens >20 minutes walk from Hobart CBD >39 hours walk from Launceston. If you end up there, you probably got lost. Free on street parking. There's always space. Bus at the end of the road if you like the way the wheels go round and round (and let's face it, who doesn't) Some other stuff in the house: **Bosch washer/dryer.*** Fancy, over-priced german engineering. Free for you to use! ***Lounge room with HD projector + Apple TV + Ps4. Siiik*** Stan, Netflix, Plex etc. And video games if you like shooting things from the comfort of our couch. ***Dining area.*** Features 5 chairs for you to dine alone or with the ghosts. Wait. There are definitely no ghosts. ***kitchen*** with an ok oven (replacing it soon + fancy microwave + and even fancier Smeg coffee machine. Kitchen aid and food processor if you want to get baked. ***Tiny Bathroom*** For the shitting and the pissing, toothbrushing and showering. But not all 4 at once. Please. ***Large backyard*** Covered in grass, vegies and other things were growing. Lots of grass for cartwheels. Loomed over by a warehouse concrete wall we plan to paint with a pretty picture one day ***Sunroom.*** A relaxing place to read and the warmest place in the house (still not very warm) ***NBN internet (FTTP).*** This is the one that is fast, not the rubbish one Abbott and Turnbull half built. ***Office*** Sparsley furnished right now but does come with a desk and an expensive chair I ... uh... borrowed from work. ***Piano*** How nice is playing an old piano in an old house to some ghosts? Even though there are no ghosts here, you can pretend. But the piano is real. Other things to note *Important note re feeding the cat* Our cute Professor Paws does get up early and meow. It's pretty annoying, but not a bad way to start the day. Plus it's a very soft and cute cat, so it makes up for it. In order to keep it's belly in the style it has become accustomed (i.e. full of food) you have two options. (1) We can arrange for someone to come around once or twice a day. (2) But if you'd rather be undisturbed, by humans at least, we can leave instructions and lots of food (it's pretty simple. Food goes in bowl. Cat eats food. Cat hopefully stops meowing.)
