Beautiful Victorian house with pool

Victorian house with pool close to beach promenade in Sea Point. The perfect location to enjoy and explore Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. The space Our beautiful 3 bedroom Victorian house is located in Sea Point, on the Atlantic Seaboard. It’s the perfect location to enjoy and to explore Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula. Nestled in between the slopes of Signal Hill and the beachfront promenade, you can go for a lovely hike up the hill, a leisurely stroll along the beach promenade or simply relax within the comforts of your home away from home. The house is appr. 140m2, has a courtyard and pool (5x2,5m) to the front and a patio to the back. The house is ideal for 4-6 people but is also perfectly suitable for a couple on a cosy getaway. Please note that there is only one bathroom. There are 2 double bedrooms on the lower level, one facing the front terrace and pool and the master bedroom towards the back. A dining room with 6-seater table is also facing the pool. You can view Lion’s head while having your dinner. All rooms on the ground floor have high ceilings, wooden floors and are all painted white, giving it a fresh, contemporary Summery beach cottage look. At the heart of the house is the open plan kitchen and living room, with an original Victorian fireplace. From here, you can access the back courtyard, the bathroom, the upper level and the bedrooms on the ground floor. The bathroom has lots of natural light and has a bathtub and a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, electric oven, coffee maker etc). The back courtyard contains a little seating area, perfect for BBQ’s (or braai’s, as they are called in South Africa). The vine growing in the patio provides great shade. There is an utility/laundry room outside as well. The washing machine and a tumble dryer are in here. If you prefer to have your washing done for you whilst on holiday, there are a few laundromats within easy walking distance. The loft bedroom is on the upper level and features a queen size bed. The ceilings are quite low but it is a beautiful space flooded with natural light and offers a wonderful place to sleep directly beneath the stars with views of Lions head and a glimpse of the ocean. After a great day out in beautiful Cape Town, come home and relax by the pool, sip sundowners on the front terrace or do it the South African way and fire up the braai (BBQ) in the back courtyard. Guest access Guests have full use of the house for the entire period of their stay. Free wifi is included. The preferred check-in time is 13:00, and check-out at 11:00 however we are quite flexible, just please just let us know in advance if you arrive or depart before 8am and after 8pm.
