953 Clarkson is a classic Denver Square home built in 1904 located conveniently in the heart of Capitol Hill, Denver. The home has been upgraded over the years to provide a modern feel while still preserving the historic characteristics. Centrally located, everything you need is within walking distance. We hope you choose to stay in Denver at our comfortable home away from home! **30-day Stay for $4,800** -- message if interested. The space We absolutely love our home and we know you will too! The cozy living room, chic dining room, and functional kitchen occupy the entire main floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, utensils, and appliances, everything that you need to prepare meals. The dining room has a built-in buffet and can accommodate 6-persons for dining. A half bath is located off the dining room. All of the bedrooms, in addition to the newly renovated full bathroom, office, and balcony are located upstairs. Both bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with ample area to store your things. The master has blackout curtains and the smaller of the two has a TV. The office is a great space for remote work, including a plug/play system if you need to connect to the monitor. If you're a Peloton rider, bring your shoes and you can get some rides logged while you're away. Our outdoor space also does not disappoint. It includes a front porch, upper balcony, and spacious backyard. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning in the adirondack chairs on the porch overlooking a grassy, fenced-in yard. We renovated the backyard in the spring of 2020 to expand the outdoor living space. There is a grill, an outdoor 6-person dining table, and 2 large outdoor sofas all covered by a custom shade structure to provide some reprieve from the hot Colorado summers. It is a wonderful, chic space to socialize outdoors and relax! Plus, you can catch the sunset from the upper balcony off of the office. We ask that you respect our other rental and our neighbors and abide by quiet hours after 10 p.m. The house is located just blocks from all that Denver has to offer: the state capitol, museums, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and entertainment. Clarkson is one of the most charming streets downtown and the area is generally quiet, with the exception of morning and evening traffic. The house is located just a few blocks from Ideal Market (Whole Foods), King Soopers, Trader Joes, coffee shops, and restaurants. WiFi, Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, Bluetooth Sonos Speakers, and Keyless Entry are also included. We recently renovated the basement level of the home and it is utilized as another 1bd/1ba rental. The two spaces are locked off from one another and utilize separate entrances. That said, if you want to rent both at the same time, please reference my other listings to see if the calendar will accommodate expanding the space of your stay. **30-day Stay for $4,800** -- message if interested. Guest access This is our primary residence and look for guests that will treat it as such. While you will not have access to the closets, we ensure there is enough room for your belongings. Exceptions apply to long-term stays. Some of our personal belongings will be in the home but we do our best to put things away and keep it tidy. We ask that you respect our privacy and our belongings. Guests will have entire access to the front porch, main level, upstairs, backyard, and off-street parking. There is a separated basement unit of the home also used for short-term rental, with its own private entrance at the side of the house. House will be stocked and supplied with fresh linens, towels, soaps, and other amenities. Other things to note We are not opposed to pets but given that we just landscaped the front/back yards, we need to vet the situation before approving. Please send a message if this applies to you. Due to noise complaints from neighboring AirBnb's, there will be no loud partying outside in the front or the back of the home. Quiet hours after 10 PM. There is no smoking allowed on the front porch. The use of drones is not permitted in the neighborhood or on the property. We live in a safe but, urban, area. Please keep that in mind.
