Tahoe Donner Family Friendly Condo

Cozy Truckee condo located close to all the Tahoe Donner amenities! It’s “mountain home” decorated with all the necessities to enjoy the time you spend indoors during your stay, including fully equipped kitchen with coffee, teas, creamer and spices; TV’s in all rooms; high quality mattresses, central & gas stove heat; and many board games and other toys to keep the kids entertained. Located minutes from downtown Truckee and within 15 minutes drive to Squaw, Northstar and Sugarbowl Ski Resorts. The space Our cozy (1200 square feet) condo is a newer build with modern appliances and open concept kitchen and living area. The kitchen will be fully equipped with everything you need to cook for your family or friends and there will be shampoos and other necessities provided in the bathroom. The place heats very quickly with gas central heat and a gas stove in the living room. Our listing is geared and preferred to rent to families as the third bedroom has bunk beds and games and toys for the kiddos. The rental is on the second story in a small four unit complex made up of families, so parties are not appropriate for this rental. It has easy access, simple check in and close to everything. Our rental is simple, clean and has all the essentials! Guest access Guests have access to the entire condo space, which includes washer and drier for laundry. There are several Tahoe Donner HOA facilities within walking distance including: Trout Creek (gym, several pools, hot tubs, saunas, child care, ping pong, archery, bocce, volleyball 2 kids parks, tennis/pickle ball courts horse shoes, horse back riding, live music events, out door bbqs, etc.), kids sledding hill with hot chocolate available, The Lodge Restaurant and the 2 Golf Courses and a driving range. There’s summer concerts and Monday night bingo during summer with horseback riding and cross country and newly renovated downhill skiing finishing for 2026 season There is a also a local market within walking distance of the condo with all the necessities, including homemade foods and a good wine and beer selection. There is also over 60 miles of hiking/mountain bike trails, the cross country ski center, downhill ski area, Pizza on the Hill Restaurant, golf course and more! Summer time also includes access to a private beach on Donner Lake. NOTE - we provide 6 guest passes to use the private gym “Trout Creek” which gives access to scheduled daily Yoga, Zumba and body pump classes. Newley renovated gym with a steam room, hot sauna room, 3 hot tubs, 3 lane heated Lap pool, summer out door pool with kids pool and as well gives access to the donner lake private beach marina with included beach chairs and protected swimming area (sail boat, kayak and stand up paddle boards can be rented for additional cost) there’s a grill and food and drinks can be purchase here as well. Trout Creek and Donner Lake Beach Marina does have a daily guest fee which allows access for both for facilities with provided guest cards for up to 6 guests. Note: There is a $30/charge associated with any LOST guest passes as we are charged by the HOA for replacement. Other things to note Number of Guests: Our rental is geared toward families and would most comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 2-3 kids. There is a pull out sofa bed in the living room and there is an queen air mattress available, though six adults would be a tight fit. Any more than 6 adults needs to be approved in advance and requires an additional $50 per guest. No parties, smoking or anything that might disrupt the neighbors allowed. Parking: This is a condo complex with shared UNCOVERED parking. There is typically one full-time car allowed for your stay. Arrangements can be made for a second car, but that will need to be made in advance. Spots beyond the 1st dedicated spot are generally available for visiting guests but may not be in extreme winter conditions due to snow storage. The guest manual will provide instructions. Outdoor Space: There is a shared outdoor patio space with chairs amd small children’s swing as well as a deck on first floor of condo which can accommodate two small chairs but minimal room for “lounging”.
