Welcome to my home! My beautiful 1 bedroom apartment, in the vibrant area of Bairro Alto, is a charming and comfortable place to stay and has terrific transport links. Explore the neighborhood and enjoy this unique part of Lisbon. I hope you enjoy your stay! The space My charming 1 bedroom apartment is the perfect base when visiting Lisbon. The house is located in Bairro Alto, at the top of one of the seven hills of Lisbon, São Roque. It is close to transports and the historical center. The apartment is less than two minutes walk from the overlook of São Pedro de Alcântara, numerous restaurants, and nightlife, typical of the area. It is an attic on a fourth floor, without elevator, in an old building but that enjoy wide stairs. The decor features neutral tones with touches of natural wood. The apartment has a small balcony. The living area is light and airy with a cozy and typical design with lovely finishing touches. Relax on the sofa (that is also a sofa bed that fits 1 person), hang out with your friends, make yourself at home! It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can kick back and relax. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the kitchen. All the appliances are modern and easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! In the bedroom, get a wonderful night’s rest on the super comfortable bed, fitted with fresh, luxury linens. There is plenty of storage and a wardrobe where you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. Freshen up in the lovely bathroom - wake up in the mornings with the fantastic shower. My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Guest access You will have the whole place to yourself. We will provide you with the basic supplies for cooking and shower. The whole place is available. You may occasionally hear noise from neighbouring apartments, as most buildings in Lisbon aren’t soundproofed! Other things to note - The flat capacity is for 3 people, no additional guests allowed. There is a single sofa bed in the living room. Check-in time is from 3 pm and check-out time is until 11:00 am. Please note that if you need a late check-in, it will require the payment of an extra fee as per the following: - From 20:00 to 02:00h: €25 - After 02:00h: Confirm availability before booking This fee will be collected before the check-in and must be paid by card or through the Airbnb Resolution Centre. All guests will be required to present valid IDs before the check-in for registration to the Portuguese security authorities -Check-in: Key collection is done at a Keynest before arriving at the apartment. -Check-out: Key must be dropped at the same Keynest from the check-in - There will be a €50 fee for not returning the key - If guests lock themselves out of the property OR they do not place keys in the lockbox at checkout, a 50€ fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80€ fee will apply. - Hot water: the water heater has limited capacity. Once the hot water runs out, it will take some time for the water to warm up. - Electricity: It is fairly common in Lisbon for the electricity to trip if more than 2 high wattage electrical appliances are being used at the same time. Guests are advised to keep this in mind when using appliances like heaters, washing machine, hairdryers, toasters, fans, etc, and there will be a €40 charge in case of electricity trips due to overuse. Most homes in Portugal don’t have central heating or air conditioning, heaters and fans will be provided. - Finally, please be eco-friendly and turn off all the lights and electrical appliances (such as heaters and fans) when you leave the apartment! - The TV is a Smart TV, so you can log in with your credentials to access Netflix and other streaming services. However, please note that it doesn’t include the regular free channels. - Please note there is no elevator in the building. You will have to walk up to approximately 80 steps to get to the flat. City Tax may be applicable for this property. This tax is not included in the booking price and will be collected directly from you before the check-in. The amount is calculated per person, per night, and could vary according to local regulations. To ensure a smooth check-in process, we kindly request that you complete this payment in advance.
