This small space truly lives large: sip a French press coffee in the sunlit kitchen, spread out at the generous counter to work or write, unwind to the sound of vinyl on the turntable, or savor a glass of wine in the Canoe Courtyard as the evening light fades. Welcome to the High Street Treehouse. Designed by your host, an architect, and built in 2021, this light-filled apartment sits above a private garage overlooking a quiet urban alley. While guests don’t have access to the garage itself, you’ll find plenty of free on-street parking along 22nd Avenue. Enter through a secure gate that opens into your own courtyard, stair, and elevated apartment—your private oasis, fully separated from the main home. (Note: entry gate is accessed from the alley.) The Treehouse features one bedroom and one full bathroom, ideal for a single traveler or couple. The bedroom includes a comfortable queen bed, and the living room offers a full-size leather sofa and ottoman. A pack ’n play is available for infants (please note the space is not suitable for toddlers). The bath includes a walk-in shower, natural light, and high-quality additive-free bulk amenities (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). Enjoy a 55" Smart TV with Roku Guest Mode, making it easy to log into your own streaming accounts. Light, minimalist, and thoughtfully crafted — the Treehouse is your peaceful Denver retreat in the heart of City Park West. Guest access Free on-street parking is easy and plentiful—most convenient along 22nd Avenue. Many guests choose to walk or use rideshare (Uber, Lyft) to explore the city, as the Treehouse is centrally located in City Park West, close to downtown Denver, RiNo, and Uptown. Prefer wheels? Electric scooters and bikes (Lime, Lyft, Bird) are everywhere, perfect for quick trips to the Denver Botanic Gardens, City Park, or your favorite neighborhood café. Getting around Denver from the Treehouse is simple, sustainable, and fun. Other things to note The High Street Treehouse is a small but beautifully designed space that truly lives large. It’s ideal for guests who appreciate thoughtful architecture, minimalism, and a sense of calm in the city. Entry to the Treehouse is through a secure gate off the alley (not from the street). This private gate leads to your courtyard, exterior stair, and elevated apartment — all yours for the duration of your stay. While the home sits above our garage and near the main house, the spaces are completely separate and sound-insulated for your comfort. Please note: the Treehouse is best suited for one or two adults. A pack ’n play is available for infants, but the layout isn’t ideal for toddlers or young children. We ask guests to treat this space with the same care and respect with which it was designed — and to enjoy it as a peaceful, restorative retreat in the heart of Denver.
