A tranquil oasis, it invites you to fully relax, unwind, and recharge during your stay. Breakfast is not included, but a wide choice of shops, cafés, and restaurants are just around the corner. Limited parking (€15/night) is available nearby, subject to availability and first come, first served. The space This exquisite space can be found on the second floor of our historic private home located in the city center of Bruges. The building, constructed in 1898, remained unused for quite some time. After years of passing by this remarkable vacant building, we finally had the opportunity to bring back this unique piece of architecture to life. During the extensive renovation, we carefully preserved the historical elements wherever possible while adapting the house to meet today's modern standards. The beautifully furnished space boasts a comfortable queen-size box spring bed (160/200 cm). Unlike a generic cable connection, the TV is equipped with Chromecast, allowing you to enjoy your preferred content via apps like Netflix, YouTube, and more. Additionally, we have provided a Nespresso machine for brewing delicious cups of coffee and a kettle for those who prefer tea. In the bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet, we offer towels and organic shampoo & soap. We will paint the entrance hall and staircase to the master bedroom suite in the next phase of our renovation project. The space is, of course, already finished. Guest access The space available for your stay is a private one, comprising a bedroom and a bathroom. However, please note that the building entrance and stairs leading to the suite will be shared by you, us and other guests staying in our other two Airbnb spaces. While the entrance is a common area, your living space is entirely separate from the other living quarters. Other things to note Our home has undergone extensive renewal and renovation, with much care and effort put into every detail. We kindly request that you treat your space with the utmost care and respect during your stay as if it were yours. Please note that this historic building has no elevator and can only be accessed by ascending fifty-two stairs. While we have significantly improved the acoustic isolation between spaces, certain limitations remain due to the building's construction techniques from 1898 and the preservation of its valuable historical elements.
