Pervolakia is a traditional Cretan village with its own micro climate surrounded by mountains and a 3.5 km gorge. Cretan village life is very simple and relatively untouched by the modern world. This detached old stone house, located in a nature reserve, has places to quietly sit and enjoy the wildlife, vegetable gardens, flowers, fruit trees, ancient olive groves and stunning mountain scenery in every direction. The space The house will comfortably sleep 5 people arranged over one double bedroom, one twin bedroom with 2 single beds, and a single sofa bed in the reading room. From the patio and front garden with quince and pear trees, the front door opens into a spacious living room where you’ll find a dining table & chairs and two comfy sofas. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for your stay and is equipped with a fridge, electric cooker, washing machine, juicer, cafetiere, kettle, crockery, pans and utensils. The reading room with a single sofa bed and bookcase leads into the two bedrooms and shower room with WC. The back door opens into the large back garden with a secluded patio with table and chairs idyllic for sitting, reading, or enjoying your morning coffee or an afternoon Mythos. This is a quieter area of Crete and the perfect self-catering holiday for a couple or family, walkers or artists, searching for serenity and something different.
