Passero, a cosy apartment at Podere Oliveta Passero is one of the apartments at Podere Oliveta: an authentic Tuscan home surrounded by the Sienese countryside between Siena and San Gimignano. From the reserved on-site parking area, you can easily reach the entrance, which opens onto your private garden. The space Private garden and exclusive barbecue The private garden is one of the highlights of the accommodation: table, chairs, your own exclusive barbecue and views of the surrounding greenery. It’s the ideal place for breakfast in the open air, reading in the shade, a glass of wine at sunset or a relaxed grilled dinner. It also works very well as an outdoor spot for working on your laptop. Cosy interiors and Tuscan feel Inside, Passero offers bright, well-organised spaces. The living room with fully equipped kitchen is practical and functional, perfect for slow breakfasts and dinners after a day out exploring. The double bedroom is quiet and comfortable. The bathroom with shower is practical and well designed. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests. Modern comforts and remote work Passero is equipped with air conditioning , mosquito screens on the windows, Wi-Fi and a comfortable workstation for remote working , ideal if you want to combine laptop time and outdoor life. There is also heating : its use requires an extra fee, calculated on the basis of meter readings taken together with the owner on arrival and before check-out. Shared garden, pool and small events In addition to their private outdoor space, guests can use the large shared garden and the communal swimming pool , perfect for cooling off on hot days or enjoying the cooler summer evenings. At certain times of the year, in the late afternoon, we organise small events by the pool with fresh drinks, aperitifs and tasty bites made with local products. Podere Oliveta is a small oasis of peace: we kindly ask guests to respect quiet hours, especially in the evening and at night. Timed anti-mosquito system The entire Podere Oliveta estate, including all apartments and shared outdoor areas (pool included), is equipped with a timed anti-mosquito system based on the automatic nebulisation of a specific outdoor product. It is designed to significantly reduce mosquitoes and insects during the most critical hours, without being harmful to people when used as intended – a real plus for a countryside property with gardens and a pool. In fact San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, Volterra are only a few kilometres away The Pool Outside the house there is a lovely swimming pool (12m x 6m) open from May to September.
