The space Riads (word meaning garden in Arabic) and dars (literally houses) are traditional housing in the Moroccan urban areas (medinas). These houses are completely closed from the outside and are arranged around the central patio, on the model of the traditional Arab-Muslim housing. They are often planted with trees and endowed with a fountain. It is the same word which refers to the capital of the Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. Dar el Boumba is an authentic house which respects scrupulously these rules. It adds the indisputable charm of classic Riads to the Andalusian influences of its design. Dar el Boumba is a large Riad. Its six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom allow twelve people to stay in the greatest comfort. Furthermore, the space offered by the central patio, both lounges and the terrace allows to share pleasant moments of conviviality between the hosts all year long. Guest access Two people will dedicate their time to making your stay as pleasant as possible. A Moroccan cook will prepare you typical dishes, and will also maintain the household, replace the towels and sheets whereas a caretaker will discreetly take care of your stay while assuring the maintenance tasks. All you need to do is indulge in your stay, from Moroccan breakfast on the terrace to delicious Tajines which will assure a great change of scene during the dinner. You will have to pay for the ingredients needed for the meals to the cook. Other things to note A municipal tourist tax of 15 dh (1.5 €) per night and per person (free for children under 12 years) is to be added to the room rate. These taxes are fully paid to the Municipality of Marrakech. It will be paid directly on site to the staff of the Riad Please note that the riad cannot accommodate more than 12 people. For obvious security and assurance reasons, staff will not accept larger groups. ATTENTION Moroccan legislation prohibits the entry of persons other than the tenants declared in the listing used to calculate the tourist tax. By booking the Riad, you agree not to behave in a way that offends the staff or residents of the neighborhood. SEX TOURISM IS PROHIBITED INTO THE RIAD at the risk of leading to legal proceedings and severe sanctions Any illegal substance is strictly prohibited In the case of non-compliance with the booking conditions, we will be forced to ask you to leave the riad without compensation or refund of your stay.
