The house has 2 bedrooms: one with tatami flooring for traditional Japanese futon beddings and one with gardenview tatami futon beddings. The rooms are separated by a sliding door. The total area is 40 square meters. Guest access Separate bathtub (looking out into the Japanese garden; perfect for long soaks after a long day of walking) and toilet. Since I will have the trip on my own, is the location of your accommodation safe for a single lady? A. Yes, the area where house is situated is very safe. It is an up-market neighborhood, and single women often walk around to and from their apartments, workplaces and the station. I think you will find staying in this house in Kyoto to be convenient, relaxing and safe. Q. Will there be other guests sharing the accommodation? A. During your stay you will be the only guest staying in this house. It is a private house rental and you will have your own door code, so you can come and go as you please. Q. Is there anything we have to do for our check out? A. No, we just kindly ask guests to leave the garbage INSIDE the house for the cleaning team to dispose instead of leaving them outside. Please remember to take all of you personal belongings with you and close the door when stepping out. Q. Is early check in or check out possible? A. Typically, our check in is between 15:00-20:00PM and check out at 10:00AM. However, please message us if you have any special requests since there may be a chance that we can work a schedule around it : ) Q. Can we drop off our luggage before our 15:00PM check in time? A. Please message us for this special request. Q. Can we send luggage to the house? A. Under very specific conditions, this is possible. Japan's luggage delivery is very precise, and so we ask guests sending luggage to the house to set up the luggage arrival time/date to be the day after check in to be present for the luggage to be received by guests since we don't want to risk guests to lose their luggage. If your child will require a separate bedding and separate towels, please count them in the number of guests staying.
