The Poet's Den, 60 sqm, is located in the neighborhood of Tenedos - the most charming and well-kept corner of Corfu's old town. Situated on the pedestrian street leading to Corfu's emblematic New Fortress our place covers the whole third floor of a 1830 building designed by the famous local architect Ioannis Chronis. It is situated opposite of the emblematic Romeo-Catholic Church of Virgin Mary that dates from the 17th century. The pedestrian street in front is of that beauty that it was selected by the producers of the famous TV-series 'The Durrels' as a background. All in all, the scenery is eclectic and cosmopolitan. Many bars, restaurants, clothes and jewelry shops are found nearby. And all this, on the foothills of the New Fortress! The interior of the apartment is also thoughtfully decorated contributing to the feeling of being part of something special and traditional. 'The Poet's Den' is a great place to spend your holidays in case you are planning a trip with your partner and you look for some authentic place to stay in Corfu or you have a small family with a couple of young children.
