The apartment is in a privileged location, in the center of the island. It is fully equipped and the view from the garden is unique! The space The house is newly built and provides all the facilities to the guest. In the bay of Pournia, is the historic settlement of Kotsina with the castle. Above the settlement is dominated by the Church of Zoodochos Pigi, which dates back to the 15th century. Beneath the church there is a spring with holy water. The statue of the legendary Maroula dominates the courtyard of the Temple. In Kotsina there is a beach with crystal clear waters and gentle seabed shapes, ideal for letting your kids play with confidence. Myrina with its Castle (about 20 minutes from Varos), the capital of Lemnos, is built on the ruins of Ancient Myrina. Visit the archaeological site in Shallow Nera, where you will see part of the ancient city. Most of the city is sown with picturesque cobblestone alleys for carefree walks, and here is the center of commercial traffic and the traditional market. To the south of the Castle is the Turkish Gialos, the central port of Lemnos and the picturesque port with the small taverns. Among the ruins of the Castle live several wild goats and a crowded group of deer. Kaveirio of Lemnos is located at the entrance of the Port of Volcanoia, the city that ran it. The Caberian masterpiece, dedicated to the cult of Caberi, is the most ancient famous terrace in the Greek space. This is where the Caberian mysteries were held, related to the resurrection of nature and the birth of the land. Beneath the Temple of Cabins is the cave where the hero Host lived for 12 years, when the Achaeans left him in the campaign to Troy, because he was bit by a snake. Hephaestia was the largest city of Lemnos for 22 centuries. From the excavations came to the surface great archaeological finds. The theatre of the Volcano reopened in 2010, after 2,500 years. Poliochni was founded in the 4th millennium BC just across Troy and is considered the oldest urban center and commercial port in Europe.
