Located 48kms away from Shillong near the town of Pynursla, 'LANGKAWET-THE RETREAT' is a unique rural getaway that gives the visitor a sense of a bygone era. The five cabins are provided with single beds to sleep upto twelve. A fully equipped kitchen provides the guests the benefit of self prepared meals. And if it's inconvenient, tell us and we'll arrange help from the local community to assist. We'll also gladly suggest an itinerary, if desired, to make your holiday exciting and memorable. The space Our cabins are basic but sufficiently adequate. The bathrooms are attached with European styled commodes, wash basin and running hot and cold water. However, only bucket baths may be had. The compound is electrified and provisioned with solar lanterns and a battery back up. At a nominal cost, guests may gain access to a fully equipped kitchen and a common dining room where meals can be prepared and eaten. Good quality filtered mountain spring water is available for drinking. Guest access Each cabin, though independent, is near to each other and provides a sense of privacy and security.
