It was recently renovated as a Petit Hotel, respecting the architectural values of the original construction and creating a minimalist atmosphere. Its tile floors, made of bright and colorful mosaics, and its ceilings, made of stucco plaster and ornamented with gorgeous rosettes and moldings, remind you of the artistic context of the time. A Little Of Gaudi’s Art In Casa De Antonio Gaudi’s prodigious ability to see and combine shapes is once again revealed in the work of art that served as inspiration for our bed headboards. Its design can only be appreciated when seven hexagonal pieces are put together. Each piece is gracely engraved with only one-third of the symbols. Through each tile, Gaudi transports us into a submarine world full of sinuous animals such as the starfish, the snail and the jellyfish. Whoever wanted to take this treasure home would need to take along not a single tile but seven. Gaudi’s design is only realized when the central tile is surrounded by the other six ones.
