The space Kelly Street Cottage is a delightful two-level retreat nestled in the heart of historic Battery Point. Step inside to discover a cosy downstairs bedroom, a beautifully styled lounge, and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher and breakfast bar that seats four - perfect for relaxed meals (please note there is no formal dining table). The bathroom features a convenient walk-in shower. Upstairs, a spacious open-plan loft includes a queen bed at one end and two single beds at the other, ideal for families or friends. Please note there is no door separating the beds in this area. Outside, a private courtyard framed by charming cottage gardens offers the perfect spot to unwind in the afternoon sun. In cooler months, panel heaters keep the cottage snug and comfortable. Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are located in the shared parking area, and off-street parking is available for one car, with an additional spot available upon request. At the end of the street you will find Kelly Street Steps, built in 1840 by adventurer James Kelly, connecting Battery Point with Salamanca Place and the bustling wharf precinct. A floor plan is available in the listing photos for your reference.** Guest access The cottage, courtyard and 1 x off-street parking space are exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Other things to note Kelly Street Cottage was built in the 1800s and is 85 sqm in size, which should be taken into account when considering the property for larger groups. Please view the floor plan in the listing images to see the layout of the property. The property sleeps 6 guests comfortably, however please note there is no formal dining area if this is important to you/your group. There is no bath. The bathroom has been updated and now contains a walk-in shower. The property is fitted with a gas cooktop that does not have an automatic shut-off feature. As such, it is essential that the control knobs are manually turned to the "off" position when not in use. Parking is available for one vehicle during your stay.
