The farmhouse is set in 3 acres of gardens in a central, but private, village location - in Stogumber, West Somerset. We are a family run B&B and like to promote a 'home from home' ethos. Prices include a full breakfast. Guests are welcome to relax in the extensive gardens and summer house and BBQ facilities available. The grounds include a large off-street parking area. Secure, covered parking for bikes / motorbikes is also available. Stogumber is a quiet village nestling between the Quantock Hills, The Brendon Hills and Exmoor. The village has it's own cricket club and visitors are welcome to enjoy a drink as they watch a match and enjoy the beautiful scenery around the ground. The West Somerset heritage railway line has a picturesque station in the village. From the station you can travel south to Bishops Lydeard passing through the rural landscape or along the coast to Minehead. Other stops include Dunster - from where visitors can access the beach, the medieval village of Dunster and Dunster Castle Watchet - a great place for a wander, with cafes and Easy Quay, and arts and cultural venue Blue Anchor - a stretch of coastline with seating, cafes and the start of the 'Steam Coast Trail' a dog friendly, level walking route that follows the railway line and the coast to Dunster Beach. There is lots more to see and do in the village and surrounding area. We can help with ideas to ensure you enjoy you stay in West Somerset. Guest access Visitors have access to a guest lounge, with its stone fireplace, and are welcome to use the lounge throughout their stay. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the gardens and make use of the summer house and terrace area. The B&B is situated next to the village church and a private path through the churchyard leads to the village pub and shop/post office. Visits or walks around the farm can be arranged. During your stay We are happy to accommodate larger groups of visitors and families. For example, in the past we have been able to rearrange our dining space to allow a large family to have a shared breakfast experience. Please feel free to discuss specific requests with us at the time of booking. Other things to note Although occupying a centre of the village location, Hall Farm offers a quiet and peaceful stay, set in large gardens. The B&B is family run and guests are likely to meet with members of the family during their stay.
