Swallow's nest - above the rooftops of Braunlage

Our cozy and popular penthouse apartment is available again for guests after I have lived in it myself for a year! The apartment has two bedrooms and also has a sofa bed (1.20 m lying surface) in the living room and is well suited for up to 5 people. There is also a fully equipped, closed kitchen, a bathroom with tub, shower and window and an extra toilet. There is a dining table for 6 people in the living room. The space The Schwalbennest is under the roof, but it is not too hot in summer and not too cold in winter. The apartment consists of 3 rooms: - Bedroom with a comfortable double bed (continuous mattress, 1.80 m) and a small wardrobe. On request, we will provide a travel bed in the room. - small bedroom with double bed (continuous mattress, 1.60 m). You will find made beds. Towels and bed linens are included in the price. - The built-in kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, oven and sink and is equipped with sufficient dishes, cooking utensils and filter coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There is a fridge/freezer. Also, there is a table and chairs for 2-3 people. The bathroom is spacious and has a corner bathtub and a shower, toilet and sink. There is also another toilet. The living and dining room is bright and spacious and offers a sofa bed (width of the bed 1.25 m), a TV, a dining table and a well-stocked bookshelf. You can stay very well here even in rainy weather. From all rooms you have a great view. Guest access The apartment is located under the roof (3rd floor) and has its own locked entrance. You share the house entrance and the staircase with me and other guests. There is parking behind the house. In front of the house there is a large terrace with barbecue facilities that can be used by guests. Other things to note There are five apartments and a psychotherapeutic practice in the house. It is an old house made of Harz wood and accordingly a bit noisy. We all try to live happily and still be considerate of others. Sometimes, however, you hear something of the neighbors' lives. I ask you to be considerate, especially in the stairwell. We tried to renovate and still preserve the charm of an old house. We didn't create a new building. The city of Braunlage charges a guest fee of €3.00 per adult/night from 01/01/2024. This fee must be paid in cash upon arrival. There is a guest card for this, with which there are some discounts and free public transport can be used throughout the Harz area (HATIX). There is a possibility to check in contactlessly via a key safe. The apartment under the roof has a lower ceiling height and is only suitable for people over 1.90 m with restrictions (head retraction in shower and door).
