Welcome to our Portuguese Guesthouse in the heart of Olhao's old town center. A two minutes walk to the waterfront, ferries (to the islands), the sea-food and green markets, restaurants and cafés. "Roma" is on the 2nd floor with two French balconies, has one double bed with shower/basin in the room and shared toilets on each floor. The space We are a 14 room Portuguese Guesthouse nestled in Olhão’s historic old town center and just a 2 minutes walk to the waterfront where restaurants, cafes & shops abound within this old fishing town of cobbled stone streets. The Guesthouse welcome you with a warm and friendly atmosphere offering several room categories which all include free High Speed Wi Fi throughout all floors, cable TV and daily housekeeping as well a shower and basin in the room and shared/en-suite toilets. Guest kitchen and the roof garden terrace with BBQ & seating area offer magnificent views over the Ria Formosa and the old town of Olhão, this area is truly the heartbeat of our Guest House. We accept check-ins from 3pm to 9pm, check out 11am - 7 days per week. Max. number of guests per room 2 i.e. for double and twin rooms, single room 1 person, triple 3 guests, family 4 guests. Guest access All Guests have access to public kitchen (there is a refrigerator and a cooktop with 2 burners, its fully equipped) dining area, roof garden terrace with BBQ (there is a gas grill on the roof terrace where our guests can grill the fish they buy on the local market) and seating. Free High Speed WiFi amongst all floors and rooms, book exchange, literature on tourist attractions and free umbrellas. Other things to note A city tax applies per person per night of €2 in summer (April to October) and €1 per person per night in winter (November to March) till a maximum of 10€. Payable at check-in. Please be advised; we live in a four floors historical building and as such we do not have elevators. We have three sets of steps with about 17 steps each , (We also have a magnificent roof that is accessed via another set of stairs). So, please pack light and carry only what you need for a fabulous summer vacation in the Algarve).
