Description
This light and airy attic room is in a modern, private, host occupied house, in a quiet residential area, within a 20 minute walk of the city centre and the University. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room, as well as a small fridge and microwave. The bathroom is shared. The superfast broadband achieves 150 Mb/s. On road parking is available. This residential parking zone will require a permit before 6pm and after 8am. Permits are available on request, for short stay guests. The space The room is on the top floor and is accessed via two flights of stairs, the second being quite narrow. Because the room is converted from a former attic, the ceiling slopes on both sides so there is limited head height and the room may not be suited to those who are well over 6ft tall. Please note that the shared bathroom is on the floor below. This is cleaned on a regular basis, but because it is shared with up to two other guests, it may not always be as clean as you may like. Please try and leave the room reasonably clean and tidy ready for the next guest to use. Please do not use the futon sofa bed as a bed (this was unfortunately damaged by previous guests). There is a spare mattress located under the bed and bedding in the wardrobe, if guests wish to sleep separately. The room is only available for a maximum of two guests. An adult and child are welcome and the separate mattress can be made up in advance of arrival on request. Guest access Short term guests have access to their room and the shared bathroom and can come and go with the use of a house key. There is a small fridge, microwave and plates etc in the room, should guests wish to eat a meal in the room. Longer term guests (i.e staying a week or longer) can have access to the host’s kitchen, dining and sitting room on request and access to the garden during the warmer seasons. Other things to note Please note that a young, friendly dog lives in the house, but he does not have access upstairs. Guests are welcome to interact with him. As this is an attic room, it does have a low, sloping ceiling so please mind your head!
