Welcome to Gîte La Grange located in the small village of Chapelle in the heart of the Fribourg Broye. **** Our cottage is rated 4 stars by the Swiss Tourism Federation **** With us, peace and nature are on the program. When you open the window, you will discover a magnificent view of the Fribourg Alps and hear only the sound of the bells of the cows on the neighboring farm. The space The 50m² accommodation, comfortable, is ideal for sleeping up to 4 people. It is located on the first floor and has a separate entrance. Let's discover the accommodation together, it consists of: - One bedroom with a double bed (king size) and dresser to store your belongings. Bed linen is provided; - a bathroom with shower, toilet and washer-dryer. Bath towels (81 large and 1 small per person) and a hairdryer are available; - a fully equipped kitchen: oven, ceramic hob (4 fires), dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine (Tassimo), toaster, kettle and all necessary kitchen utensils as well as dishes for 4 people. And to savor the typical Swiss dishes, a raclette oven and fondue service are available. - a living room with a sofa bed (2 real mattresses) and TV. Wifi is free A bed and a baby chair are available on request. You can freely access the garden and will have at your disposal a garden table as well as two sun loungers. We provide a parking space next to the entrance. Guest access Our gîte is located in the countryside in a very small village but remains close to large cities and all amenities. - bakery, pharmacy, bank, food store (Coop and Denner), post office, train station: 5 minutes by car (Granges-Marnand) - Payerne: 15 min, - Estavayer le Lac: 15 min, - Yverdon-les-Bains: 25 min - Fribourg: 35 min - Lausanne: 45 min The nearest CarPostal stop is 500 m away. Other things to note For your leisure, you can of course opt for a walk on the path of the wheat that passes nearby or a dip in Lake Neuchâtel (beach 15 minutes away). But feel free to visit the medieval city of Estavayer le Lac, the Roman city of Avenches or a little further Lausanne, the Château de Chillon, the Olympic Museum, Aquatis. Go for a walk by Lake Geneva or Lake Gruyère. Take the funicular and admire the 360° view from the Moléson! Enjoy chocolate at Maison Cailler in Broc and discover how Gruyère is made at Maison du Gruyère (Pringy). There are many activities within reach!!! Brochures are available directly in the cottage.
