'Rumah' is home and 'ku' is my. Rumahku Georgetown is a classic 1920s residential house, renovated recently to a Scandinavian and Modern style. As our property is located in a vibrant area, occasional noise from nearby bars or clubs can occur. Welcome to 'Rumahku', no matter how far you are apart from your home, you can still find a home in an unfamiliar city. 'Rumahku' is hosted by GB, an experienced, highly rated Superhost who aims to provide a comfort home for guests who travel from different places. The Rooms: 7-Bed Exec House consists of 5 different rooms with unique theme and facilities. Every single room can occupy 2 guests except Family Exec Room which can occupy at most 4 guests, and the homestay can occupy at most 12 persons per staying. The unique themed rooms are Deluxe Executive Room, Family Executive Room, Gen Z Executive Room, Romantic Executive Room, and Tatami Executive Room. All unique themed rooms are with fully furnished, air conditioned, and completed with various kinds of amenities. The Common Areas: Living room consists of a 65’’ Sharp Brand Smart TV connected to the 100Mbps WIFI internet which guests can enjoy the TV shows and movies in the suite. Kitchen area with Panasonic purified water, 3M Brand purified water, electric kettle, refrigerator, toaster and microwave oven is provided. Furthermore, instant coffee mix and instant noodles are provided at each room too. For the convenience of guests, we also provide washing machines (Detergent is free) and dryer machines. Note : 1) Delegated bathrooms and toilets are built outside the room - Tatami Executive Room (At Ground Floor). 2) Must climb stairs (1 flight of stairs to access the Suite in Rustic Chic Traditional Architecture Home, Deluxe Executive Room and Gen Z Executive Room; 1 flight of stairs to access the Loft- Romantic Executive Room). 3) Maximum guest stay at this homestay is 12 persons. Guest access 1. Relax with a dip in the lounge chair ,drink a wine overlooking the garden view. It's heartbreaking, all troubles disappeared. 2. No private car park. There are plenty of street parking lots along the roadside (You may download Penang Smart Parking app to pay the parking fee). Furthermore parking during Sunday and off office hours (8am-6pm) are free in Penang. Other than the street parking, 1st Avenue Mall car park is also nearby (300m away). It’s open to the public. 3. Automatic Self Check-In With Smart Door Lock and Door Access Card i) To retrieve the room card in the room, service charge is RM20 and paid directly to the homestay staff. ii) Lost or damaged room card, replacement cost is RM50. iii) Please latch the room door hinge to prevent damages to the lock as the replacement cost will be RM200. Note: Please observe our check in and check out time. Kindly seek for approval from us if early check in or late check out is needed. Early check in or delay in check out can be arranged subject to availability and charges. 4. In the homestay some rooms have the potential of noise from the street, if you are not used to the noise, please prepare yourself by earplug or buy the earplug with homestay staff. Only light cooking is allowed in the kitchen. • Penang is the food heaven in Asia recognized by CNN and we want you to enjoy all the street foods and local foods instead of cooking. • We will prepare towels, shampoo, body bath gel, hair dryer, iron and iron board for you. • You need to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush (environmental friendly). The property is maintained in good condition and professionally cleaned before each check-in. Guests are expected to treat the home with reasonable care and respect. Occasional insects or environmental factors may occur despite regular maintenance. • Guests are advised to keep doors and windows closed when using air-conditioning. • Any issues must be reported immediately during the stay so we can assist promptly. • Failure to notify the host during the stay may affect eligibility for refund consideration under Airbnb’s policies. • No off-platform payments are required. All reimbursements (if any) will be handled strictly through Airbnb’s Resolution Center.
