Wake up to the sound of water gushing through the streams and the view of snow capped mountains. A boutique homestay located in the most eco friendly neighbourhood of leh town. The property is 500metres walking distance from the main market and yet secluded enough to avoid any traffic noise. Each room has been painstakingly designed to ensure a comfortable stay and to make you feel at home. The space Welcome to Jade house ! Our family home ,built with a lot of love and put together with a lot of thought and care. We have 4 bedrooms available for guest bookings. Each bedroom has been personally and painstakingly designed and come with a well equipped attached bathroom ,work /vanity desk and tea coffee station. This specific listing is for the room in the picture. Incase you have a larger group, pls send an inquiry to check availability for other rooms aswell. The family lives on the ground floor and the guest rooms are all located on the first floor accessible by a short flight of stairs. There is a common guest lounge and a small well stocked library on the 1st floor along with a large open deck with sun loungers and dining tables. We have an organic vegetable garden and a small apple and apricot orchard on site hence We have a farm to table approach to the food served at our house ,which for us means sourcing all our vegetables from our front yard. PS: the tariff mentioned is for one bedroom, the same price applies to all other bedrooms aswell which need to be booked individually. Extra beds are charged extra . The tariff is non inclusive of any meals Accessibility : The property is 400 metres from the main market ,hence its walking distance to all the important places to visit in leh town. All restaurants and supermarkets are within 500metres of the property. Taxis can be arranged on request Guest access Guests have full access to the first floor,where all the guest rooms are located along with the open deck ,library and the common lounge area. We have a small yet well put together in-house menu with wholesome meals prepared with vegetables from our organic garden. A simple breakfast set starts at 250rs. We pride ourselves in being listed by Conde nast traveller as one of the best places to grab a bite in Ladakh. We also do curated local food experiences for non guests on certain days. If you have special requests regarding food,pls let us know at the time of Booking . During your stay I will be available at all times to answer your queries. Other things to note No Smoking inside the house and rooms. You can smoke in your balcony and the open deck. Please ask the staff for ashtrays . Quiet hours from 9pm-7pm. We expect all our guests to be considerate of other in-house guests, host family and the neighbours. Ex UN , WHO certified in house doctor, specialising in immunisation and disease control (mom),available on call for our guests. Free oxygen level testing for all guests and if prescribed ,oxygen cylinder available at the property for nominal charge. All rooms are properly sanitised after checkout.
