Historic Barn Loft - Private & Spacious

Relax in our sunny, fully renovated 108 year old barn loft apartment - where rustic charm meets modern comfort. This unique space combines heritage character with contemporary living. The master bedroom features an orthopaedic bed for a restful nights sleep, while the spacious lounge offers a comfy sofa bed and a heat-pump to keep you cozy year-round. You’ll have your own private bathroom and a well-equipped kitchenette for light meals and snacks. We have a dog, 2 cats and hens. 7 min to CBD The space Our house was built in 1917, and believe the barn was built not long after. The loft apartment is a renovated living space we've rebuilt from the ground up, saving only the loft joists and the floorboards from the original building. This creates a modern air-conditioned apartment with a rustic, rural feel, in a suburban environment close to amenities, the Tauranga CBD, hospital and Mount beaches. The barn overlooks our vegetable garden and our fruit trees. We have much for children to enjoy as we have a trampoline, a friendly dog Guinness, two cats & three chickens. Many visitors comment that they feel like they have had a peaceful country like stay on the middle of town ❤️ There is a luxury orthopaedic queen bed and a double sofa bed. Portacot and high chair is available :) pls advise in advance if sofa bed is required ❤️ We are close to the Daisy Hardwick walk and close to the estuary, perfect for dog walking, walking, running and cycling. Please book for the correct number of guests so that we can set up the barn for the appropriate number of people. Guest access We have a key-safe for access to our barn loft if we aren't able to be here to meet you, when you arrive. Our six burner BBQ and huge outdoor macrocarpa table and sun umbrella for alfresco dining. The enclosed trampoline is also available for use. Park off street in front of white barn doors. Check in is 2pm, check out is 11am. Other things to note Drew has enjoyed a career in tourism locally and abroad for decades and has a wealth of information about fun and scenic activities and experiences in the local area to suit those more, or less active or adventurous. He will be happy to give you his recommendations so that you can make the most of your time here. We have a flexible cancellation policy. We offer full refunds unless cancelled after check in time :) If you require sofa bed, please let us know. Uber eats is available. Let us know if you have any questions :) Beach towels are available on request. Our cleaner at arrives at 11am to clean the barn, so we appreciate a prompt check out. Many tour operators will collect from our AirBNB. If you see fruit on our trees such as limes, avocados , mandarins, feejoa or peaches help yourself. Please book for the correct number of guests.
