Whakaipo Cottage, tranquility, comfort and views

This cozy cottage offers beautiful views! With a covered outdoor area with bifold windows, you will be able to enjoy them at any time. Tranquility, comfort and relaxation, just a few minutes away from lake Taupo and only 10 minutes drive to Taupo town - This place is perfect to escape real life and enjoy a break! It is private with modern furniture, a well equipped kitchen with alpacas and emus just outside. You can feed the alpacas. Plenty of parking space. The space Whakaipo cottage is located just outside Taupo, on a 3 acre section, with alpacas and emus in the paddock in front of the cottage. It is clean and tidy and full of little extras such as DVDS, books and various hot drinks. A beautiful barrel and barstools to enjoy a drink and peaceful outlook. Guest access We are in the main house, near the cottage. We appreciate privacy and respect yours, therefore we request that guests don't come to the main house and we won't visit the cottage, unless you request assistance. Other things to note The cottage doesn’t have much space to put/hang clothes and doesn’t have a washing machine. Please consider this for long term bookings. The bathroom is compact. It has a great shower, basin and toilet. We are happy to host pets, but we’d like to mention our house rules to keep everyone safe and happy. We have cats, dogs, alpacas and emus and are surrounded by houses with horses and cattle. * please ensure your dogs are on a lead at all times when outside of the cottage * please pick up, and dispose of, any dog droppings. * you will have to bring your own water and food bowl for your dogs * don’t let your dogs on the sofa bed. * you are fully responsible for your dogs and for the payment of any damages they may cause, at all times during your stay. * there are beautiful walking areas in the area (river walk 7 minutes drive) (whakaipo bay 5 minutes drive)
