Guesthouse with a View - “Triggervale”

Triggervale Guesthouse is an ideal rural retreat only 5km from the CBD, yet overlooking all of Inverell. It is a place that celebrates its rural setting. “Triggervale” is a semi detached self contained guesthouse - designed by award winning architect Tim Ditchfield - that wraps around a mature garden and pond with windows and glass doors capturing light and views on both sides. The space This solar passive house is owned by an environmentally conscious family that captures their own drinking water, minimises their use of synthetic chemicals inside and outside, use solar power, and have their own septic system. We ask that guests be mindful of these aspects during their visit. The guesthouse was specifically built to host the visiting children of the original owners and still features an art gallery hallway connected to the main house. Although the guesthouse is separated by an insulated wall now, visitors may hear muffled domestic noises at times. Being rural, there are otherwise few noises apart from birds, insects and the wind, especially at night. Your hosts, Carolyn (daughter of the original owners) and Nick have three friendly dogs roaming their 5 hectares. One a large black wolfhound (Batman), another a small ginger terrier (Scruffy) and a cattle x koolie (Addy). There is a pond and bridge just outside the guesthouse that need to be taken into account if bringing young children. Laundry facilities are not available in the guesthouse, but can be provided on request, including a dryer and iron. Room service (linen change and cleaning) will only be provided once a week for those booking in for more than a week at a time. Parking is not under cover, but multiple cars and trailers can be accommodated in the designated car park. Undercover parking can be requested for bikes. The kitchen has a 3/4 fridge and covers most cooking requirements. The hosts are happy to take requests for pre purchase and payment of additional items, such as basic or specialty groceries before arrival. The car park is for the sole use of guests. The courtyard merges in with the extensive main garden and vegetable patch which is communal with the owners. Other things to note Cooking appliances include: electric jug, toaster, sandwich press, electric frypan, portable single induction cooktop, mini 3-in-1 oven/microwave/air fryer, slow cooker, rice cooker.
