Situated in a residential enclave, beach access is only a short walk away. Normanville is one of South Australian’s hidden gems, with pristine white, sandy beaches, a glimmering ocean and sheltered coves. Serenity awaits! The space Located between the beach and town cafes, the Beachouse boasts a breezy open plan living area with a beautiful stylish kitchen plus spacious dining. There are four generous sized bedrooms, ceiling fans and high-quality Danish oak floorboards. The kitchen includes all the accessories you could want ... stainless steel appliances, induction stove, dishwasher, Nespresso-coffee machine, milk frother and plenty of cupboard space - perfect for your self-catering holiday. And you never need to be too cold or too hot as the entire home has the comforts of ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning. There is not one, but two hardwood timber decking areas (one fully screened), great for entertaining. However, if you don’t feel like cooking, wander just 2 minutes down the road to the main street village, which hosts a smorgasbord of cafes and dining options. The Beachouse @ Normanville: Sleeps up to nine adults and one baby in four bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - Queen Bedroom 2 - 2 singles Bedroom 3 - Queen Bedroom 4 - Double with single bunk above and cot (Sleeps 3 + baby). Quality linen provided for all beds (depending on number of guests). You do not need to bring a thing! Bottom and top sheets, quilts, quilt covers, a range of pillows, pillow cases, and throws. Bottom sheet only provided for baby cot (bring your own baby bedding). Two bathrooms (1 ensuite attached to main bedroom, separate bathroom and toilet in common area). Bath mats, bath and hand towels are provided free of charge. Indoor and outdoor dining and cooking areas, with a Weber Q BBQ, a wide range of cooking utensils, pots and pans and tea towels. Study area (if you must work!). Huge timber-screened deck areas for outdoor enjoyment. Fully-fenced child/fur-baby friendly outdoor areas. More about the area: Normanville Beach – a touch of South Australian paradise! The beach is located 300 metres from the property, and the town cafes are 600 metres away, both easy walks. Normanville Beach is a popular seaside village located just over an hour’s drive (77kms) from Adelaide City Centre and Adelaide Airport. In summer, enjoy days spent on the endless expanse of the beach, building memories along with sandcastles and playing in the crystal-clear water. Then head back to your luxury holiday home to finish a sun-soaked day in the airy, high-ceiling serenity. Perhaps relax with a drink or two on the beautiful jarrah-decked terrace bar, before preparing a barbecue on the superb facilities in the hardwood-screened alfresco dining area, as the overhead fan creates a gentle tropical breeze and the children play in the safety of the elegant fully-fenced garden. In the cooler weather, how about a brisk stroll along the beach to the rock pools of Carrickalinga, only minutes away, or why not head a little bit further south to the renowned beauty of Lady Bay? Then indulge in a day trip to one of the many nearby wineries, or perhaps take a picnic to one of the best-kept secrets of South Australia, the beautiful Ingalalla Waterfalls, only fifteen kilometres away. Or maybe golf, with the Links Lady Bay Golf Course only a short drive away, with a drink or meal at the clubhouse with stunning views over the course to the ocean. A short drive south, Second Valley and Cape Jervis beckon, a rocky coastline with amazing views to Kangaroo Island. You can jump on a ferry for a return trip across Backstairs Passage—watch for the visiting whales and the pods of cheeky dolphins! After a day of exploring and adventuring, make your way home for a hot shower in one of your beautifully presented, generously sized bathrooms, which boast multiple overhead heaters and toiletries. Dim the mood-lighting, curl up on the sumptuous leather lounge in air-conditioned comfort to enjoy the 55cm curved screen TV, high speed NBN, and DVD — before deciding whether dinner will be prepared in the fully-appointed chef’s kitchen, or you’ll venture out to one of the many local eateries. After a day packed with fun, choose from one of the spacious bedrooms to enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep in the comfort of quality linen, before waking to the caroling birds for your next day’s adventure! Guest access Guest have exclusive access to the property. Some bedrooms will be closed depending on number of guests booked. The property is fully fenced. Dogs allowed. Entry to the property is via an electronic key lock on the front door. Other things to note Depending on the number of guests, some bedrooms will be closed off. Your booking must reflect the number of guests staying at the property. Standard set up for 2 guests is the main bedroom made up. Sheets, Towels and Quilt covers are supplied (to the match guest numbers) We will liaise with you on beds to be set up before you arrive, to ensure the right beds are made up so you enjoy your stay. The house is self catering - we supply tea, coffee, sugar, but guests need to bring their own food for meals. There are 3 steps from the driveway up to the front door, but no stairs inside the house. This is a pet friendly house - while it is cleaned throughly, if you have pet allergies it may not be the place for you. There are 2 security cameras at the front of the house covering the driveway and front garden. Please note that the carport is not available to use and the roller door can not be operated. Our cancellation policy is in line with the moderate policy for Airbnb. If you need to cancel within 5 days of the booking the rules will apply and you will need to claim any refund on your travel insurance, or use the trip protection that you can choose to purchase in the payment process.
