Kindly note, while the immediate surroundings of the cottage are fenced, we recommend keeping furry friends close as the perimeter may not deter their adventurous spirit. Rest assured, our back paddocks provide ample space for exploration, complete with secure fencing and a picturesque dam, albeit accompanied by the gentle hum of busy bees. We do want to note that we do have a mob of Kangaroos that frequent the property and some may not be a fan of dogs. It's always best to keep them on a lead when you are unsure of their presence. Your furry companions are welcome to join in the escape, with a convenient doggy gate adorning the back verandah for their safety and enjoyment. Unfortunately we can't have dogs swimming in our pool due to hair/filtration system but we live close by to The Gorge which is dog swimming friendly and only costs a gold coin to swim in their natural Moogerah Dam fed creek. Other things to note We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or Christmas etc just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. Please note - weddings and functions have an additional hire rate and you can see our function package via the very last images on the Airbnb pics. We regularly hosts functions and have a lot of event equipment on site. Please only book the cottage is you will respect our historic cottage and you will look after our beautiful region. The natural beauty of The Scenic Rim and its wildlife is truly special. The olive farm is a working farm and has wildlife, bugs, geckos and farm animals.
