Since the early 90's my family has been holidaying in and around Hamilton Island and the Whitsundays. We all loved it so much that my family bought property there. We absolutely think it's a very special place, and we have had so many memories made in this beautiful part of the world. Having had various properties on the island over the decades we believe that we have a pretty good handle on the good, bad and the ugly about the area (let me tell you there isn't much of the bad or ugly here...). The short story is we have great experience and we have various options for you to create your own fantastic holiday. My wife and I purchased a 2 bedroom apartment on Hamilton Island, in an exclusive complex called "Blue Water Views". We think it's perfect (and it is for us) and it might be just the fit for you! It's very large compared to most 2 bedroom apartments with over 150sqm of floor area. Large living and dining, Extra large bedrooms both with own bathrooms and walk in robes. The second bedroom is easily large enough for the queen size bed and a double bed and is bigger than a lot of hotel rooms I know of. We have a range of top quality additions like a DENON soundbar which works with the TV, and easily hooks up with your devices using Bluetooth or cable, a PS4 with a selection of games and some cards and board games if you'd like to laze around. A Nespresso machine to make a great coffee is a huge plus! What we absolutely love about the apartment is the privacy, serenity and it's beautifully quiet, not looking over a road and a sensational outlook... No need to go anywhere to enjoy the sunset! Hamilton Island...wow. Let's start with the climate. Hamilton island is just about perfect all year round, with temperatures in the high 20's in the heart of winter meaning you can swim all year round! Escape the winter blues and have Summer whenever you like! The Middle of summer is hotter obviously but never too hot (specially with a cold drink near one of the beautiful pools or snorkelling the reef!)... remembering a tropical holiday is what you go for!! There is SO much to do on the island and surrounds, but it's a great place just to exist and enjoy the atmosphere.... Or kick back by one of the many pools available. We have set up the pricing to reflect our turnover costs... That is the unit is thoroughly cleaned and prepared to greet you (and the next guest) sparkling at its best. This one off fee makes it better value to stay longer. As a suggestion, I would say at least 5 days or even a week (you will receive a further discount for staying 7 days or longer) is a good amount of time, but obviously not everyone can do that. We accept a minimum 4 night stay, but give preference to longer bookings. With the inclusion of being self contained and with our personalised buggy it's also one of the more reasonably priced options, with that really exclusive feel. Any questions welcome... The prices are reasonable, and you’ll be surprised how cheaply you can live in paradise!
