A beautifully styled, newly renovated luxury mini guesthouse. Allawah Guesthouse has a mix of quirky art, natural pieces and quality touches. Including all of the essentials you need in a home away from home. The guesthouse has double glazed windows which will keep you cool in summer & warm in winter, plus added privacy. You are tucked away from the hosts home, facing tea-trees and hearing the birds sing. The ocean can often be heard too. Both bay and ocean 5 minutes away. The space Allawah Guesthouse is a gorgeous, newly renovated, mini house that has everything you need for a getaway. Nestled in its own space, this space has with a gorgeous sun filled covered private deck and many luxurious additions, making it super comfortable and homely. A range of teas, coffee, sugar, milk preference granola will be provided. Other kitchen basics: olive oil, salt, pepper, herbs/spices, vinegar, paper towel, sponges, dishwashing liquid, tea-towels. The kitchen is full of ample cutlery, crockery, pots pans, kettle, toaster, and has fridge and microwave Some other luxury additions to the space are double glazed windows and doors throughout, fly screens on all windows, split system for heating and cooling, a beautiful fully equipped kitchen- including gas cooktop, oven and ample utensils to cook and enjoy a meal. A beautiful Koala mattress (I have one myself, a perfect sleep!) quality bedding and towels, quality shower products, as well as moisturiser, hand wash, cotton tips, tissues. We will make sure to have it all. There is a sofa so you have another seating space to have a nap, read, or enjoy the view. A newly added (October 2023) covered private verandah which makes your living space almost double the size. An outdoor seating area facing the green tea trees and a dining space, this can be utilised all year round. Festoon lighting and outdoor ceiling fan to make your stay even more homely and comfortable. Your space is safe and private, where you have your own access and no shared spaces. The location is great for those wanting to be away from the bustle of Rye foreshore, but only 5km drive to Rye Woolworths and cafes. It is only a short 3 minute drive to the National Park and Ocean Beach. Some nights you can hear the waves crash, pure bliss. You will be tucked away, well away from the road. There are range of local birds that you can often hear. Kookaburras, golden whistlers, wattle birds and wrens. Allawah House is a short 5 minute drive to the Peninsula Hotsprings, supermarkets, Rye pier, cafes and Beach 16 General store. World class wineries, golf courses, fabulous views and walks are near by too. Some surrounding suburbs are Cape Schack, Rosebud, Portsea, Sorrento and Dromana. I have an adorable Border Collie puppy named Remi (born 5/7/20 to gauge his age when you read this) Remi is not allowed in guest areas so your space is dog free, he will only greet you when you come and go. If you aren't a fan of dogs, please let me know or consider alternate accomodation. He is very friendly and loves to say hello. I’ve had hundreds of guests; all raving about him being welcoming. The room has a range of local wine. Which is all available to purchase at retail prices. You can pay cash for these prior departure. With so many local wineries and breweries to visit, this way you can sample a few or take one home to enjoy. I have worked in service, hospitality, wellness and design. It is a pleasure for me to use all of those areas of experience to create a stay that is warm, welcoming and comfortable. I am a remedial massage therapist with ten years of experience and do a range of healings and body work, which you can book in for. If yoga or mediation is on you’re welcome to join for free. I also have another seperate listing that is on the property. It also fits a maximum of 2 guests. Families, couples or groups of 4 people can have the luxury of both spaces, which are both fully furnished, have their own bathroom facilities and places to cook (Allawah Guesthouse has a full kitchen, Allawah Guest Room has a kitchenette) Thank you for reading my listing, if you have any questions please send me a message. **Covid update Please know that the room is throughly cleaned to the recommended Airbnb standards. I can also provide brand new pillows for your stay for extra peace of mind for $10. Your space will also have a 6 hour minimum since being cleaned that you can enter to allow it to be sufficiently cleaned and properly ventilate. This means check-in may be 4pm if the room is occupied the day of your booking. Otherwise a nice early check in of 10am is available.
