We've finished travelling for a while, and we're happy to invite you into our home. We have two other rooms available in our home: 1. Enter the "Paris" Room in central Kingston+b/fast 2. Centrally located, breakfast - 12 mins to Hobart A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST is included. Our home is situated in the heart of Kingston, close to shops, restaurants, takeaway joints and public transport. Check-out is strictly by 10am. A surcharge may apply if prior arrangements have not been made. The space This room has built-in cupboards with shelves and hanging space. It has an electric heater for those cool to cold nights (during winter, your beds have electric blankets). A TV has been provided for your enjoyment as well as a comfy chair, a small desk for your laptop, and an office chair. The room also has a full basin with hot and cold running water. Tasmanian tap water is the best in Australia (if not the world) so you don't have to buy bottled water. Just bring one water bottle and fill it from the tap, and it's free too. You also have access to our balcony from which to enjoy the sights and stars, as well as enjoy breakfast al fresco. Help us conserve water by having shorter showers. You will be helping our blue planet. A selection of complimentary teas, cocoa and coffee are in each room. A clean kitchen with a lot of kitchen tools, so if you like cooking will be really good. Cozy garden outside. And the house is close to the city, so you don't need the car to do some shopping or eating. Irene and husband are a magnificent couple, always available and respectful. One day I'll return for sure. Guest access We have the usual fast-food/takeaway places, plus Japanese, Korean, Indian, Thai and Chinese restaurants close by. There is a microwave oven at the top of the stairs, so please use this to heat up your meals. Please no cooking in room. We'll be sharing the bathroom and separate toilets. Please ask us first if you want to use our washing machine. We are just a 15 minutes walk or 3 minute drive to Kingston Beach. From our balcony, you can see the majestic Mt. Wellington. When you arrive at our home, just come to the front door and we’ll meet you there (because this is our home). Feel free to drop off your baggage if you arrive earlier in the day before check-in of 4 pm. We are reasonably flexible with check-in and check-out times to make your stay with us more enjoyable (just ask). However, please understand that we need to wash the bedding and towels in readiness for our next guests and because Tassie weather is not always kind to us, we'll need more time to dry it all. Our quiet time is between 11pm and 8am. During your stay We can help you with your travel plans and advise where best to travel in Tasmania. We will leave the booking of trips to you.
