A charming and quirky 1930’s cozy lake cottage bungalow recently remodeled with over 900 sq ft plus an adorable sunroom lined with windows. Enjoy the private fenced backyard oasis with waterfall and garden pond. Includes your own long driveway, perfect for car and boat parking plus 2 extra spaces. Provided is a variety of entertainment including air hockey table, puzzles, Atari, Roku, BluRay DVD player, & board games. Located on a quiet street that dead-ends into the Mentor Harbor Yachting Club. The space The first floor contains the master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room, and sunroom. This home has a vaulted ceiling with a bold staircase leading to the second bedroom loft overlooking the living room. The kitchen is furnished for your convenience and additional amenities such as a Keurig and some complimentary coffee and tea selections will be available. A convenient keyless entrance eliminates any key hassle. There is a charcoal grill during the non-winter months that you can use in the private backyard space, complete with an umbrella shaded picnic table and fire pit. This cottage does have central air, as well as a window unit in the upstairs bedroom since it is an older home. Guest access Guests have access to the first and second levels of the home, including the sunroom at the front of the house. Outdoor spaces include the front yard, long driveway, 2 additional parking spaces, and a beautiful fenced backyard. Guests are not permitted access into the basement, garage, or neighbor's yard on the south side of the driveway. Other things to note We take great pride in the cleanliness of our cottage. It is thoroughly cleaned with disinfectant on all surfaces throughout the home. This includes, but is not limited to: door handles, remotes, keypad, cabinets, blind pull strings, and kitchen appliances. All linens, including comforters and bed pillow shams, are always cleaned in between guests. Lake life does equal bug life. We try to keep the property bug free as possible but living so close to Lake Erie does mean there are spiders and other lake bugs (non-biting midges and mayflies) that come around from time to time. We do not have cable tv, but do have wi-fi and a Roku Streaming Stick for the television. Our home is 100% smoke free. If you do smoke outdoors, all windows and doors must be shut and butts are not to be disposed of within the house. All butts must be placed in container on picnic table. Due to allergy concerns, this is not a pet friendly cottage. Three night minimum stay, unless specific dates noted otherwise. January 2, 2024 - April 11, 2024 - 2 night minimum stay.
