Dutch Homestead Vacation Home

The Dutch Homestead Vacation Home (attached to right hand side of the host family's home - see photos) is located just outside the town of Paradise. You can sit on the porch of the guesthouse and hear the train whistles of the Strasburg Railroad in the distance. The kitchen is stocked with some breakfast supplies for your first morning. THERE ARE TEMPORARILY NO ANIMALS OR HOST FAMILY LIVING ON THIS PROPERTY UNTIL THE SPRING OF 2027 WHEN THE NEW HOST FAMILY WILL MOVE IN. The space There are also Amish farms nearby. We are located 3 miles from Sight & Sound Theater and 1 mile from Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, and The Strasburg Rail Road. Other things to note This Amish owned lodging doesn't have AC, TV or Wifi. The guesthouse does have some fans. There are a limited number of electrical outlets. Depending on your phone carrier & plan, you shouldn't have any problem getting cell phone service & internet on your phone. It may be possible to funnel the internet from your phone to your laptop using a "personal hotspot". Advertised rate is for up to 2 guests. Be sure to enter total number of guests on the booking form to get the accurate rate for your stay.
