La Caravane Green

The caravan, completely renovated, is an unusual place, decorated in a bohemian and warm spirit to please you, with maximum respect for the environment (organic and eco-responsible materials). It is located within our property, along a bike path connecting it to Besançon (6 km). Our animals live freely on this plot, and will share their pasture with you. The site allows relaxation and rest, while enjoying cultural and nature activities nearby. The space The Green Caravan is a 1971 Sprite Alpine, fully restored in a vintage and bohemian spirit that we wanted to be simple, warm and refined. It offers a comfortable sleeping space (120 x 200 cm bed), in an eco-responsible spirit (plant-based bedding, organic pillows and bed linens). The decoration benefits from antique objects respecting the decade of the caravan, so as not to alter it. A small table and two seats enhance the interior and allow you to have a comfortable meal, use a computer, play a board game, or lend yourself to any philosophical reflections of your choice ;-) An outdoor wooden terrace allows you to have breakfast independently and in peace. The bathrooms are outside in a small private hut, close to the caravan, which has all the comforts you need. A shower (with water heater), sink and dry toilet fit for a king are also reserved for guests; you will not be responsible for managing the dry toilet! ;-) Organic and preferably local breakfast, included in the price, will be served on site on the terrace, on sunny days, and inside the caravan on rainy days. Our animals (dog, cats and sheep) will share the garden with you. Our house is about 40 meters from the trailer, which is arranged so that there is no overcrowding. Cohabitation is done in a natural way with mutual and friendly respect. Finally, the trailer has Wi-Fi. The site is also equipped with an above-ground pool. And bikes are available free of charge, to explore the bike paths! But the Green Caravan is not in a secluded corner. You won't be lost in nature. It is close to the city of Besançon; it is the countryside in the city! However, weekend bookings are quieter than weekdays... I prefer to specify... Guest access The caravan is independent. The bathrooms too. Parking space in front of the house, reserved for this purpose, or possibility to park your car also inside. Other things to note By giving 24 hours' notice and booking in advance, a simple, organic meal (savoury tart, garden salad and dessert) can be prepared for you, at a cost of 15 euros/person. Breakfast (organic, local and homemade) is included in the price of the reservation.
