The space Nestled in to the forested hills, Mandalay Pavillion, with its richly hued rosewood floor, consists of one bedroom on the first floor with its own en-suite and spa bath, balconies overlooking the rainforest on one side and Port of Airlie at the front. On the ground floor, surrounded by a large patio, is a living room, (TV, DVD Blu Ray player, Netflix movies on line service, movie library), kitchenette and a queen size ottoman sofa bed, a bathroom with rain shower. The space is ideal for a couple without children or with 2 children maximum. Completely separate from the main house, this pavillion is cooled and cross ventilated using bi-fold doors, windows, louvers,all fully screened, and sheltered verandas, to capture the breeze. Both rooms are fully air conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans. At the end of a great exploration day, treat yourself at your own alfresco dining and enjoy a romantic evening on the timber deck facing the rainforest. Guest access The kitchenette has cooking facilities although no oven. Simple meals can be prepared unless you prefer to get takeways, home deliveries, fresh reef fish, or try the numerous restaurants in downtown Airlie. Al Fresco Dining under the rainforest canopy will be unforgettable. Both upstairs and downstairs are very spacious. There is a comfortable queen size bed with a double sofa bed downstairs for an extra person or 2 children.. A very comfortable workspace is provided upstairs with unlimited internet . Guests can dine or lunch in the courtyard or on the patio, facing the rainforest. Incredibly private and romantic. As we can claim irreproachable cleanliness, now more than ever we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
