Pet Friendly (upon approval) The space The Cottage is nestled upon the highest point of the property's 40 acres, and Byron Shire. It features one bedroom with a (most comfortable) king-size bed, fitted with pure linen sheets, a flat screen Apple TV and fluffy robes. Inspired to provide you with everything you need for a nurturing stay. The Cottage offers you an oven, mini fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, aircon unit (upon request), heater, fans, iron/ironing board, outdoor fire-pit and your own Far Infrared Sauna (with sunset views). On arrival you'll receive chilled sparkling wine, bottled water, milk, a delightful selection of teas, and for the coffee lovers - a Nespresso machine. A light breakfast option is provided of local muesli and fresh seasonal fruit, and for a little snack, tuck into delicious Loco Love artisan chocolate. The space flows out to the wrap-around verandah, where you can catch the South-East breeze and take in the expansive views towards Byron Bay’s lighthouse for sunrise, and to the south west afternoon sun sets as you relax on the outdoor furniture... The perfect setting to curl up with a good book and cup of tea. While watching the horses in the surrounding paddocks NEW You can now enjoy a luxurious infrared sauna or a relaxing outdoor bath overlooking the panoramic view of Byron during sunrise/sunset. The cooler months invite afternoons spent by the outdoor fire pit, with front row seats to the most beautiful golden sunsets that kiss the rolling hills. Cheese, red wine and ugg boots welcome... These additional services include the following: **Yoga** - Private yoga sessions conducted by experienced and qualified instructors. **Rainforest Regeneration Tour** - Explore the farm and learn about the local flora and fauna that we have been working on regenerating over the past few years. - Discover the history of the Byron Bay hinterland **Photoshoots** - Offering our property for professional or personal photoshoots, we have photographers we can recommend upon request Guest access Wander across BVF's 40 acres, as you witness a growing rainforest of up to 40,000 trees... and along the way meet the resident alpacas, horses, border collies and chickens - they just love to say Hello! If you wish to feed the Alpacas, please just let us know and we will drop some food off for you! Other things to note Our growing awareness of climate change and global warming has led us to embark on a passion project to REWILD the land. To bring it back to how it used to be. Within one month - we removed all cattle, introduced some alpacas and connected with “Reforest Now”, our local not for profit organisation who, little did we know at the time, would join us on an amazing journey. Becoming part of something a lot bigger that we could have ever imagined. To date we have planted 40,0000 rainforest trees, our goal, with more to come. BVF is currently one of the largest private rainforest regeneration projects in the Northern Rivers. We've installed native beehives and nesting boxes for birds, marsupials and microbats, creating corridors to adjoining bushland. It is our mission to bring back a rainforest habitat to attract the biodiversity of native wildlife that once flourished here. As well, to make BVF as environmentally friendly and self-sustainable as practically possible, we already harvest our own rain/bore water and in the near future will be completely solar and off the grid.
