Our main goal is to give our guests a place to relax and to feel at home. We are a unique heritage like property based in the ”Living Museum” desert city of Jaisalmer, in the west of Rajasthan, India. The space Like the Japanese metropolis of Tokyo, we like to gather people from around the world and make you a comfortable home. We are dedicated in providing pleasant, friendly service. When you travel to Jaisalmer, stay with us at Tokyo Palace! Opened in Fall 2010, the owners are very passionate about their hotel and one of the owners has been living in Japan for a long time, hence the name! Tokyo Palace is housed in a unique property, based in the desert town of Jaisalmer in the exotic province of Rajasthan, India. We offer comfortable and delightfully decorated rooms in elegant Rajasthani style with ornate stonework and happy, colourful fabrics, beautiful curtains etc – all with private bathroom (the suites have a shower AND a bath for ultimate relaxation) - in a relaxed atmosphere. Our suites are special because they are large rooms that include a balcony with beautiful views of the Golden Fort of Jaisalmer. They also contain stone carved window seats, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities. We have free wi-fi. Our rooftop terrace offers stunning sunset and sunrise views of the spectacular Golden Fort of Jaisalmer. The terrace restaurant is a place to make new friends and enjoy a variety of delicious Indian dishes and other cuisines. Our suite guests can enjoy a free breakfast here. Some nights we play Rajasthani folk music songs. We offer a swimming pool for our guests. It’s open all year. Jaisalmer daytime temperature is about over 35 degree Celsius(=95 Fahrenheit) from April to October, and over 40 degree Celsius (=104 Fahrenheit) in May and June. Even in winter you can swim in daytime. In the desert water is so precious, enjoy this welcome gift of nature! We provide our guests free pick-up service from the train or bus station to take the hassle out of arriving in Jaisalmer. We can arrange a taxi to/from the airport for a small fee.
