One of two private newly renovated double rooms (en suite air conditioning) in an Edwardian villa City fringe close to Eden Park, 2 minutes walk to trains, buses. Cafes restaurants bars supermarket gym laundromat nearby. Wifi: fibre optic, unlimited secure internet access. Shared on site parking for city cars. EV trickle charging available. Good for exploring Auckland City, city escape business travel, concerts, conferences, art & other festivals, sports tourist. The space We aim to give you a four star hotel experience (minus 24 hour concierge!) The front room, with en suite, to the right, inside the front door, gives you ease of access and maximum privacy, with digital locked access to house and room. The windows are double insulated with heavy French pleated blinds, providing a very quiet space. French doors open onto the shared sunny verandah, with table and chairs. You are welcome to use the lounge with other guests and family. A comfortable double bed. A large Wifi Chromecast enabled TV, Netflix, and unlimited fibre optic internet access. USB plugs with each wall socket. Cabinet/desk and chairs, plus coffee and tea (& tiny fridge) making in the room. Access to fridge and microwave. Guest access We imagine that you will enjoy the room that we have created to four star standard. The en suite means you don't need to leave the room while in the house. There are so many nearby cafes and restaurants you are spoilt for choice, you wont miss not having a kitchen (although you have access to a fridge and microwave). Use the cabinet/desk for in room dining. Washing: There is a nearby laundromat for personal washing, which we will be pleased to help you get to and use. Ask for a car park: We have a car space on site for city cars. Larger vehicles/SUVs require more cooperation. Do let us know if you will need the car park. During your stay Please let us know when you will arrive so we can greet you on arrival and help you settle in. You have all that you need in the lovely, comfortable room. Of course we will be delighted to tell you about our city, our favourite picks of what to see, and how to get there. and any queries or problems will be our pleasure to assist with. Other things to note We are just around the corner from Eden Park one of the most famous international rugby stadiums. When there is a large event, the road maybe blocked off and access will be compromised. If you are staying for the event you are 3-5 minutes walk away! While the event is on, access is all very workable when one knows the system. We will of course assist you with this.
