A relaxing and peaceful country escape. The property sits below the mountains and boasts acres of both untouched and well maintained land. Includes access to a beautiful creek, private waterfall and swimming hole. Plenty of bird life, trees and mountain views for relaxing. The space The property sits at the apex of the mountain and boasts 113 acres of both untouched and well maintained land. With a beautiful creek running through its centre, it has an incredible private waterfall and swimming hole with direct private access. The property is located in the Promised Land at Gleniffer. It is a beautiful rural setting with a mix of farm and bushland. Accommodation is a private fully self contained cabin seperate from the main house. The newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and a gas stove with oven. The outside bathroom… along side of cabin, is a must to experience with shower, bath and very modern compost toilet. Imagine relaxing in a hot tub gazing up at the stars, with a gas upright standing heater for comfort in the cooler winter months. Fresh drinking water, milk, tea and coffee are provided plus any seasonal fruit grown on the property and eggs ( if hens are laying ). Guests are advised to bring their own food supplies should they wish to cook substantial meals. The nearest location to purchase food or other items, or obtain takeaway, is Bellingen and that is approximately 15km away (so car or other private transport is essential). Most guests buy their supplies in Bellingen from the local vendors and eat that food either in town or on the property. Otherwise, there are restaurants and cafes in Bellingen to choose from, but being a country town the shops do close early. In terms of communications and technology. Wi-fi is available. The property is in a rural area and is serviced by satellite. Guest access Enjoy the lawns and gardens of the premises to walk around and relax as well as the private swimming hole and waterfall to have a swim...feel free to wander around and explore the property For guests visiting in summer please note there are fly screens on all windows but not on the the doors, so it is advised to keep the windows and doors closed on dusk. Mosquito coils are provided and guests might also like to pack some insect repellent for their own personal use, as insect repellent is not provided. An upright fan is provided for the summer months and a gas heater( which heats the cabin in an instant) is installed to warm the cabin during the winter season. The highlight would have to be the private swimming hole and waterfall running through the property, just a 1 minute stroll downhill from the cabin accommodation. Enjoy! Other things to note Pets are allowed, but with notification of guest during booking enquiry and subject to hosts approval. The owner has full responsibility for whereabouts of their pet.. there is no fenced in area. A pet bed must be provided by owner and any droppings to be collected and disposed of in bin provided. Pets are not to be left in cabin whilst guests go out. Nearest town for shops, restaurants etc is Bellingen which is 15 kms away. No prepared meals supplied by host sorry, as this is not a bed & breakfast. No smoking or parties please.
