Amongst 5 acres of beautiful jarrah bush, you would think you were miles from anywhere, yet only 1km from town. Surrounded by state forest, it is a haven for birds and wildlife, which can be watched from the raised deck. Tranquillity plus. The space Large living area, with 2 bedrooms; one queen bed, and 5 singles/bunkbeds. Guests need to supply their own linen and towels. Supplied: Soaps, t-towels, matches, coffee, tea, sugar, condiments, oil, doonas and blankets, wood for fire. There is a large outdoor deck overlooking the forest, a running creek in winter. Western grey kangaroos come for food each night and a brushtail possum and ringneck parrots also visit. Numerous birdbaths and native gardens encourage an enormous variety of unique birdlife. Very secluded and relaxing. Note: there is no WiFi. Optus network works best, Telstra is patchy. Guest access The cottage is a fully equipped house, with an adjoining but separate artists studio, sometimes occupied.
