Our cosy guest room (3.8 x 4.4 m) and ensuite is on the bottom level of our hillside bungalow (25 steps to climb plus a steep-ish ramp pathway). Breakfast is included and a jug, toaster and fridge are provided for your convenience. Carpe Diem has lovely sea views and your own generous-size deck to enjoy. The Waterfront and popular cafes are just three minutes walk down the lane and the city centre is two minutes away in the car or 20 minutes comfortably walking. No smoking or vaping permitted. The space Carpe Diem is a comfortably furnished room with adjoining ensuite providing the weary traveller with all they need to relax at the end of the day. There is a generous luggage rack in your room, and an adjoining room is equipped with all your breakfast needs and comfy chairs. Guests occupy the downstairs area which includes generous decks and your own entry. (The hosts are upstairs). Enjoy the tropical garden and wander down the lane to the Waterfront and cafes, all just five minutes away. Guest access Guests are able to enjoy the separate guest entrance and full use of the two-level deck and furniture provided. Guests will not have use of our kitchen but there is a jug, toaster and fridge in the adjoining sitting room and we replenish items as needed and clean any dishes daily (guests leave used dishes outside room for hosts to clean). There is no admittance upstairs. Other things to note Please note, there are quite a few steps down to the house as well as a steep-ish ramp pathway. If you have bad knees, hips, or don't think you could manage, it may be wise to reconsider booking but very few people have commented re this factor -this is just a heads up! We are very happy to meet guests at the garage and assist with carrying luggage down and also assisting back up at departure. We ask you to inform us if you want to accept this offer. There is strictly no cooking permitted in any of the rooms, nor outside on the deck.
