Beauly Farm Cottage is one of those special places to stay if you want something that is bespoke and definitely not mainstream accommodation. Set in beautiful established grounds, this self contained cottage is perfect for a couple wanting the privacy, peace and tranquility of their own space in the country. Only minutes to Geraldine. Close to quaint Woodbury Village, Beauly Cottage has stunning views to Mount Peel. The space Your own access/key and space to totally relax and unwind in a country garden setting on a small working NZ Farm. The cottage is decorated in a warm, welcoming and homely way to ensure you can unwind and relax. Free wi-fi access if you need it. Included in your stay are milk for tea/coffee, oil and a selection of herbs and spices - fresh herbs are available from the garden. The cottage is fully self contained with cooking and laundry facilities. Come and go as you please. Star gaze at the big sky night and wake to the sounds of bird song. Explore the large garden at your leisure. Unwind with coffee or an afternoon drink in your own private space amongst organically grown orchard trees and raised vegetable beds. You will not be disappointed. Pluck fruit, berries and veggies/herbs in season at your doorstep. You are welcome to walk around the farm and take pictures at your leisure and ask any questions with regards to life on a working NZ farm. Your host Fiona or one of her friendly family members are normally about the farm or main house if you need anything or have any questions. Guest access As this is a fully self contained cottage guests have their own driveway access and key. Guests have access to the washing line and use of the vegetable garden and orchard produce when in season. Please just confirm requirements with the owner. Other things to note Beauly Cottage is situated on a working farm. From time to time there will be movement of stock and visits to the farm by groups and the odd farm dog working (an eye dog that does not bark). This is completely separate from the cottage but if you would like to explore the farm and farming life, we will be happy to help. Set in established grounds and a large garden you are welcome to enjoy the immediate vicinity at your leisure. We have a friendly working dogs although Missy (smaller) is an eye dog and prefers distance. Gem is more tactile and relaxed.
