High-quality king size, queen size, and double size bed with a very big comfy couch so can host a total of 7 people. The flat is located on the 8 floors and has elevator access after the 1st floor. You can use household items and feel like at your own place. You'll have the whole place so you can enjoy the flat with your family or friends. There are high quality KING size and Queen size beds at master bedroom and double size bed in another bedroom. There is also one comfortable big sofa (for which sheets, blankets, and pillows are also available). So, 7 people can stay comfortably. There is a high-speed wireless internet connection. Free wifi It is 100 Mbps (unlimited) There is a new and regularly maintained filter system for drinking water at home. There is a 24 BTU air conditioner in the living room. There is a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, oven, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, espresso coffee machine and all kinds of utensils in the kitchen. There is a blow-dryer in the bathroom. You have 24-hour hot water directly from all taps. The apartment has a natural gas heating system. (In winter you can feel the comfort of a warm home for 24 hours). There is a 12 BTU air conditioner in the master bedroom. There is a 9 BTU air conditioner in the second bedroom. I provide you clean towels, bedsheets, pillows, and blankets, soap, shampoo, toilet paper. When you arrive, my co-host or I will meet you to give you the key and a brief about the flat and the city. I will not be present at the apartment, but I am always available for any questions and advice :) Karataş is an especially popular neighborhood in Izmir and one that provides several outlets near the waterfront as well as close to the downtown. It sticks to Konak municipality, which is the most important administrative, artistic, cultural and commercial district of İzmir. Karataş is historically the part of İzmir where the city's Jewish population was concentrated, particularly for middle- to wealthier classes. In Ottoman times, the poorest were usually either concentrated in Mezarlıkbaşı quarter or around Havra Sokağı (Synagogue Street), both of are located in or around Kemeraltı bazaar zone or were scattered across the city. Karataş is still the area in İzmir where most members of the city's Jewish community continue to live. The inhabitants, among whom neighborhood pride is quite developed, also usually declare living in Karataş. Beth Israel, the city's largest synagogue, and Karataş Hastanesi (also called Yahudi Hastanesi or "Jewish Hospital" locally), which is owned and operated by a Jewish foundation, are still running. Fires and self-destruction lose the old houses in Karataş. Asansör, literally "the elevator," built-in 1907 by a businessman named Nesim Levi to allow people to climb the elevated part of the area that is separated by the tidal strait by a cliff, is one of the principal landmarks of Karataş, as well as for İzmir as a whole. The street where Asansör is situated named Dario Moreno Street (Dario Moreno Sokağı), in memory of the singer-composer who had actually bought a house for his mother in that street and had lived there during the first phases of his fame. Some of the sights featured below could be reachable by walking from the apartment. From there, you can take the tram transfer and chose the direction of Fahrettin Altay and get off at Karataş stop. It takes around a hour. Or easiest way with the luggage use a taxi from airport to house; Taxi will cost around $15-$18. There are Buses or Tram possibilities for public transport on the road in front of and behind the house. The street behind the house has a public bus station 1min from the apartment door. There is also a taxi station (24hour) next to the bus station. And the street in front of the house has tram station, only 3-4min walk from the apartment. After just one stop by tram at Konak direction, you can reach Konak ferry port, which you can use to cross the other side of the city. If you use the opposite direction, you can reach the Üçkuyular bus station for using Çesme Buses. There is street parking possibility mostly available on the back street of the house. Basic good behavior: respect the residence and the neighbors, and no excessive noise:) Smoking is not permitted inside the house. But the apartment has a big balcony in front, so you can smoke there if you smoke.
