Sunny Parkview garden cottage

Sunny studio cottage set in a lovely garden with shared use of the kitchen in the main house. Ideal setup for someone spending a few weeks/months in Jo’burg. Close to Wits, UJ, Rosebank. Parkview is a safe neighborhood with a village feel. Easy walking distance to parks, restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. Please note that we have two little children and a small dog who use the garden so you will hear sounds of children playing during the day. The space The cottage has a cozy interior sitting area and an exterior patio looking out onto the garden with a majestic hundred-year-old oak tree, fruit trees, and flowers. The room contains a queen-sized bed, spacious bathroom, walk-in closet and kitchenette (with microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster and kettle). Strong wifi signal allows you to stream TV/movies. Please note that the cottage does not have a full kitchen or TV. *Please note: children and small dog also play in the garden so you will hear the sounds of children playing during the day and a small dog. Guest access The cottage has a separate entrance and safe parking available for one car. We encourage guests to enjoy the garden. The pool is covered for safety but can be uncovered for guest use (in summer months). Other things to note Please note that overnight visitors are not allowed without prior arrangement. Shared use of the kitchen in the main house. Not suitable for young children. No TV - but wifi fast enough for streaming from your laptop. Serviced twice a week and fresh linen once a week. Our domestic worker, Lungile, can do laundry and ironing for a cash fee paid to her directly. The garden is a shared space and used by our children during the day. We will let you know in advance if we are planning on having guests. We have a small dog who barks occasionally but is very friendly and gentle.
