Our house and garden is a great place to start day filled with cultural experiences in Tuscany, while at the same time offers all modern facilities for pure relaxation holiday by the pool with the kids.The Lance Castle is a beautiful and worthy of preservation townhouse built by patinated stone. The house is part of a large stone building that is Lanciole historic center dates back to the 1200's when it was called The Ghibelline Castle. Our townhouse is full of character and atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The house is decorated in an old romantic Tuscan style. The house is perfect for the large family of 8-10 people and has 2 kitchens with dishwasher, 2 bathrooms and a small toilet with washing machine. The house has three large terraces. A terrace of 50 m2 and one on 30 m2 near the kitchens. Beside that you find a lovely shady terace in the garden covered by a lovely wooden pavilion. The biggest kitchen has an open fireplace and is fully equipped with gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster. The second extra kitchen is also equipped with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster. The house has 4 bedrooms with 8 beds and a sofa bed for 2 extra people. The house has two bathrooms - one small and one large, both with bath and a small extra toilet with charming old door where tall people have to duck when they are going through. Medieval village Lanciole is one of 13 small villages in the area, which is like pearls on a string of area wooded hilltops. Each city is fascinating and well worth a visit, but if you must choose a few, then a visit to Castelveccio, Sorana and Vellano particularly cozy. Because Lanciole is located about 600 m above sea level it can be a relief after a hot day out to cool down a few degrees in the mountains. House thick walls of the old fortress village makes for a pleasant indoor climate. Towards Lanciole the path winds through a valley where you can find many paper mills as the paper industry for centuries has been a major source of employment in this part of Tuscany. In the middle of the route between Pescia and Lanciole it is possible to run a trip into the beautiful Sorana valley where one cultivates delicacy of the area - the white Sorana beans. Entering Sorana valley to restaurant Da Sandrino is a great picnic spot by a large rippling creek where the water gathers in small pools, so you can swim in fresh water. Go well to the left by the river to find a bigger pool. At Da Sandrino they serve an excellent Cafe Latte or a cappuccino for just about 1.5 Euro. In Sorano valley you will find also some of the area's best restaurants at very reasonable prices. Guest access As our guest you have access to private pool and garden. The pool is 3,75x7 m and 1,2 meter deep. There are parking just in front of the house.
