Studio ensuite room at villa Huntly House

Huntly House is a renovated 1911 villa mansion. The studio room is an ideal overnighter for short stay visitors to our peaceful area. Your room is located at the rear of the house and offers a comfortable bedsit with your own access off the rear shared deck with parking just outside your room. Room for boat, trailer, caravan parking. Enjoy complimentary WIFI, tea, coffee and fruit. Wander across to the small secluded beach and boat ramp or visit Waitete Pa and enjoy the waterside serenity. The space Huntly House was the first home in Palmerston North with it's own power supply. The studio is the original 1911 generator room that serviced the main house. Now relocated in Clarks Beach the room is cosy and comfortable and located at the back of the villa in our tidy service area. You will see us come and go from the shared parking area. Access to the shared laundry and washing line is accessible from this deck. Security Cameras operate 24/7 over the car park and back door area and front of house. Guest access Self check-in via the back deck During your stay Usually onsite and available in the evenings or via mobile. Other things to note Huntly House is situated on 22acres of farmland. Often we have farm animals grazing the land and so our permanent and moveable (poly wire) electric fences are always on. It's best not to touch them :) We are currently landscaping so we are not picture perfect just yet. Elderly long haired cat also on site. A bit like the elusive Loch Ness monster - you will be lucky to spot her!
