Nestled in the picturesque north east 5 kms from Brown Brothers Winery and 2.5 kms from the Milawa Cheese factory. Wineries, galleries and gourmet delights abound. Cycle well marked rail trails or explore further afield and discover the King Valley wineries or spend a relaxed afternoon in Rutherglen. Sit beside the fire on winter evenings and sip local wines or relax in the garden on a warm evening with a cooling ale or Prosecco. Complimentary cooked breakfast included until 9am daily. The space We have a cosy home nestled in acres of farming land and yet we are only five kilometers from Brown Brothers Winery and just around the corner from the Milawa Cheese Factory. We enjoy meeting people and love our region. We'd love you to stay and sample that escape to the country you deserve! Evening meals available on request. Guest access The Milawa Gourmet region has much to offer in all seasons. A day on the slopes is under two hours away. Rail trails are excellent and the King Valley wine region offers a delightful food and wine trail as well as the vista right down the valley from Power's Lookout. Easily accessed from the Hume Freeway and the Great Alpine Road. Other things to note We prefer bookings 24 hours in advance if possible. We usually have a second bedroom available so that you can book with friends. If you are travelling as part of a household and can share a bathroom please let us know so we can provide you with the opportunity to book the second bedroom. (Please note that the second bedroom is a double) You will have exclusive use of the guest bathroom facilities. Our cleaning routine has always included frequently touched areas such as handles, switches, cords bedroom surfaces and all bathroom areas. We have redoubled our efforts to make sure that you can relax and enjoy your break in our gourmet region. We have two bicycles and helmets available for guest use. We can provide a 2 course meal for you with a little notice - just ask and we can oblige.
