Pearl's Cottage is a simple self contained cottage at the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale with an organic vegetable garden and orchard (for guests' use) and a beautiful rainforest walk along a bubbling creek. Furnishings and finishes are as organic and non-toxic as we can make them. The space Pearl's cottage is one of 5 cottages and an old farmhouse set in nearly 50 ha of rain forest with a beautiful creek. Available for private use or suitable in conjunction with other cottages for group use. Pearl's Cottage is small self contained cottage with a beautiful view over the valley below. It is ideal accommodation for a couple. The cottage has a wood heater and flat screen TV . Queen sized bed with latex mattress, down doona, electric blanket and cotton sheets Single bed in seperate sleeping area to the queen bed but you need to walk through this single sleeping area to access the bathroom. Double hot plates, microwave oven and refrigerator in kitchen corner Bathroom with shower and toilet and heated towel rail Flat screen TV Cosy Pot belly wood heater and ample cut firewood Other things to note We recommend you to purchase food for your meals on route. If you come from the north or west, the closest food store to us is a Mini IGA Supermarket at Ouse, approximately 20 minutes drive. If you come from the direction of Hobart, there is a Woolworths Supermarket in New Norfolk, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There are not a lot of options for eating out for dinner. Our organic garden usually provides some additional vegetable delights during spring and summer and our cottages have cooking facilities.
